This is your typical AT&T store: bright and spacious with phone displays along the wall (iPhones, Androids, Windows phones, etc.) and a couple center displays with the latest tablets. There is no large television display area, but they do offer U-Verse (whatever the bundles are -- I haven't looked much into it). Employees are friendly and not too pushy, with the exception of a couple of them. You have to be clear and upfront about your intentions when you speak with them. One new development with their phones that I didn't know about until a few days ago: gone are the days when you can just put down $200 for a phone with a 2-year contract. Nope. Now you have to pay full price of the phone, no matter what. Not up front, of course, but in payments over twenty to thirty months with AT&T's NEXT program. Eeek! Unless you're able to shell out the full cost of a phone up front or you opt for one of the cheaper GO phones, you're stuck with a monthly payment for the phone itself in addition to the phone usage bill. Not cool. Along with that, you can upgrade your phone only after a certain amount of time, based on the payment plan you choose. Blah. On one hand, it's nice not to plunk down $200 off the bat for the phone, but it sucks that your bill is essentially higher each month because you're paying for the phone itself too. Let's face it..... phones are getting more expensive these days. Sigh. At least this store is here. No need to drive out to Lexington for assistance. I'm a fan of the store, I suppose. I was skeptical but he brought it back and the connector worked perfectly. I ordered a 22mm replace band for my smartwatch only to find out it's not a 22mm band I needed . A friend told me that I could come here and they'd be able to switch out the pins for the right size. The woman working there measured the width and the watch face as well and told me that it was a 24mm not a 22mm. She looked for pins while I tried to pop out the pins from the original band the watch came with . Eventually we got them out and she was able to put them in the band I wanted to use . She didn't charge me for it and to be honest I felt like she should have . She absolutely refused a tip and we went back and forth until she finally gave in. The service was outstanding and she was so nice !

The same Chris who, during my visit, noticed how long I'd been there and even mentioned there was a faster transfer method, yet never actually helped me. On Monday, September 22 around 10:45 AM, I went in for a warranty exchange. At first, things seemed fine the gentleman who greeted me was polite and called a manager to bring out the replacement phone. Right away, I noticed two issues: the phone wasn't the color listed on the box, and there were scratches on the lenses. I brushed it off since it was an exchange. The real problems started with the setup. The replacement phone arrived with less than 20% battery, yet no one bothered to plug it in, even though Apple updates require enough charge. I sat waiting while the phone died, and had to flag someone down just to get help. Once it was charging, the update still wouldn't start. Instead of troubleshooting, the tall associate just kept saying "give it a second" without doing anything. I ended up fixing that myself by restarting the device. Next came the transfer. iCloud wouldn't progress for nearly 10 minutes, and again I was told to "just wait." Only after I insisted did the same associate force a shutdown, which temporarily worked. At one point, another employee named Chris noticed how long I'd been there (now approaching two hours) and even mentioned there was a faster transfer method they could've used but it was never attempted. Instead, I was pushed toward a phone-to-phone transfer that could take nearly two more hours, even though I made it clear I had a meeting coming up. What frustrated me most wasn't just the wasted time but the dismissive attitudes. The tall associate kept offering empty suggestions instead of actual help, and the woman I dealt with carried herself with a superior, condescending tone that I did not appreciate. Honestly, from the moment I walked in, I noticed weird looks and a general lack of welcoming energy, which made me feel my presence was a problem. In the end, I canceled the entire exchange, got my money back, and waited until I returned to Florida to do the exchange properly and with no issue. That says a lot. I'll be contacting T-Mobile corporate and customer service because the way this was handled was careless, unhelpful, and disrespectful. Customers shouldn't have to troubleshoot their own warranty exchanges while staff stand around offering excuses, condescension, and attitudes.

Auto parts store dude sensually fingered my car…read more I am appalled. I'm a 26 year old, mixed race, single female and going to the auto parts store is always terrible. Worker found a hole in my car's intake hose (it's a Versa, so it's supposed to be there) and just slides his finger in there while looking at me. In and out, a few times. As if I'm not supposed to know what the message is there. Then I told him I had driven my car like I stole it for a few miles so it could adjust to the new MAF sensor, and he said: "oh so you were like 'I'm going to drive you hard and you're gonna take it'". What the hell. What is it with these car guys?? Y'all need to get laid outside of business hours. Just get that horny energy out. Never thought I would say this but it's curbside pickup for me from now on.
