That often includes a trip to Walmart (wine, cat litter, etc.), the Bank, take him to appointments, and in this case arrange to get that walker fixed. This time around, only a series of brake-related adjustments were required, setting him back maybe $30. Next time the walker goes out, a full replacement will be required of which Choice Medical has a number of options. I'm happy to help out and really appreciated the guy who fixed the walker. My family…read morehas had more than our share of events requiring services, and the place always seems to run like a well oiled machine. Specialist referrals, labs, radiology...quickly and smoothly coordinated by our primary care docs. In the few cases where they have fallen a little short, I recognize that the patients have some culpability in the matter. For instance, a young friend of my close acquaintance had knee surgery and the bandage was very tight and hence very uncomfortable. However, she did not contact the nurse to ask her something could've been done. They can't fix what they don't know about. (Four weeks later the same surgeon can essentially the same surgery on my knee and I had no difficulty at all.) One other bobble was related to a course of pulmonary rehab ordered for my husband... they were supposed to call, but didn't. That's on them. He should have called to inquire...and he didn't. That's on him. It's a health partnership, not a full service spa. For complaints about 20 minute waits....that's what the magazines are for. Just read, nap, or play solitaire on your phone. You would wait longer than that for a table at a restaurant.
