Each suite is tastefully decorated and has windows, area carpets and beds. Dogs are let out 5 times per day into 3 separate play areas. Safety is our number one priority. We only let dogs play together if the owner requests and we have dogs that can be matched up for play. The facility is 300 feet from our home and we feel that it is part of our home. It looks and feel like a home yet is professionally managed. Our employees are mature and really care about dogs. In addition to our boarding facility we offer in home care and dog walks. If you prefer to leave your dog at home while on vacation we can provide visits to your home. If you work long hours we provide dog walks during the day. WARNING!!! DO NOT BOARD YOUR DOGS HERE!!!…read more If I could give Willow Run Kennels zero stars, I would - for negligence and mistreatment. We entrusted our two dogs to Jeff and John at Willow Run Kennel. When we dropped them off they both had a clean bill of health and were in great condition. We left multiple contact numbers with Jeff/John for them to let us know should the dogs need anything or should Willow Run need to contact us for any reason. Further, during our trip, we called to check up on the dogs and were told by John that they both were great and that everything was fine. However, when we picked them up - "great" and "fine" were the furthest from the truth. Both dogs were unrecognizable - they had lesions all over their bodies, and faces. We scheduled an emergency visit to the vet where the vet declared they were severely dehydrated, had bacterial infections, and mange. When we spoke to Jeff to ask how this could have happened, he brushed it off with excuses and blamed the situation on "misjudgment". We trusted Willow Run Kennels with our precious dogs - two lives - and the neglect and abuse that our dogs experienced at the Kennel is incomprehensible and unforgivable. We truly have no words and are heartbroken by the way our dogs were mistreated. In addition to other actions we are taking we private regarding this matter, we want to tell others what happened so that you do not make the same mistake that we did. We would STRONGLY advise everyone to please STAY AWAY - for the sake of your animals. Do NOT board your pets here. Do NOT trust this place or these people.

Prior to the trip, we explained that 2 out of the 4 tend to get into it around food when not supervised. As long as you're there, they're fine. She agreed to watch them and of course met them prior. Not 24 hours later my dogs barely leave the kennels, barely get water, and of course, the 2 dogs in question get into it bad enough that we had to come home and take them to the vet. She did not intervene she just stood there. We have it all on video from a security camera. Now, all we asked was to reimburse us for the unused days and we would have ended it. But no. She refuses to return calls and texts. She claimed to be injured, but the video evidence shows no injuries. Do not hire! She has no business caring for others dogs. The worst of it being she was paid to house sit, yet she was barely there and my poor dogs got water once.
