Definitely the largest selection of a variety of home items under one roof in the York area. Prices are reasonable/decent. I've never required assistance from any staff, but notice that I've never been acknowledged or greeted by staff when shopping and clerks at check out were only like warm. I do like the the store and will continue to shop there, just don't go expecting a stellar customer experience. read more

I'm a huge fan/shopper of HomeGoods, TJ, Marshals and when I heard about At Home- I couldn't wait to make the drive from Baltimore up to York, PA. The store it's self and the concept of the store is any HomeGoods shoppers dream; however, it's WAY over priced. The same home decor/accessories they sell can easily be found for substantially cheaper; if they were to lower their prices so their comparable to competitors I think they'll do well. Store is super clean and organized- but employees are impossible to find, and the ones that you can find are not very knowledgeable and have an attitude. They've got some work to do. read more

Overall, I don't think shopping here is any different than shopping at HomeGoods or even IKEA. It's about the quality I expect at a price I can deal with. I find a lot of their pieces to be so "trendy" that I would expect to throw it out after one season. If you know the look you want, you can get something that looks very similar at a lower price point. That said, I did have an issue about a month ago that bothered me enough to write this review. I was trying to return curtains with a receipt and was told that they couldn't issue the return without the credit card I used. The card used was my husband's and he was out of town. I asked for store credit and was told I couldn't do that, even with a receipt that was less than a week old. I was told I needed it to return them and just to come back when I had the card. I then wrote a complaint to corporate and never heard anything back. Also, fair warning: I have been there multiple times and not once received any type of customer service, even when I'm standing next to an employee. No greeting, no nothing. read more

This is a review of the new location in Lancaster. I was hopeful that my wife and I would like this store as I read about the grand opening, it definitely has a variety of items. What I thought was odd was there wasn't an associate anywhere in sight to help with questions or locations of items. The store is set up weird where it wouldn't be hard to lose your family quickly. I was hoping to see a grille, a toaster, maybe a coffee maker but none were to be found. I wish them success but it won't be on my dime. read more

Cheap stuff, no customer service and The management better re-think its policies. At the end of the long cattle line leading to the poorly manned check out counters there are impulse buying displays. There was a wall of candy bags, for a bag of Rasinettes the price was $5.99. I just bought the same bag for 2.69 at CVS. Do they think we're suckers. One customer walked out seeing this. Trying to gouge your customers on a bag of candy makes me sure that they are trying to gouge me on everything. read more

I don't appreciate being followed by a loss prevention team member. I helped set up this store, and was there with a friend showing her different parts of the store that I had part in setting up. While there, I did see many things I would have gone back to purchase, but I was followed so bad, even to the bathroom with out my purse. I am a senior citizen that loves the finer things in life and can afford to purchase what I want. Your loss prevention team member needs training on how to actually follow a thief. I was admiring the store not stealing from it! Get a grip on a real thief and let the honest one's alone. I will NEVER shop there again. This is piss poor management on the part of loss prevention! I asked questions when I worked there to managers of other ATHOME stores, and I knew the codes and way you did things. I don't forget. Next time you want to try to catch a thief make sure it is one and not a shopper that loves to shop like me! read more

I absolutely love this store! I don't know why it has such bad ratings. I came here all the way from New York. We're remodeling our kitchen and bathroom and needed a number of things. After searching many of stores at home with no luck, I found this store online. Took the trip and was not one bit disappointed. Everything I could imagine. I walked out with 4 dining room Chairs, 2 bar stools, a end table for living room, plant stand, headboard, lamps, throw rugs, and many more items. I spent almost 3 hours shopping and was almost overwhelmed by their selection. Prices were more than reasonable. 80 for each dining room chair, what a bargain. Their stock is limited, only what you see is what's available but I can't complain. I absolutely love this store and went home with a full van! I couldn't be more happier making the trip to this store. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for home furnishings on a budget. read more

Lots of potential, but I found most things overpriced. I found an item on a high shelf, and there was no one around to help get it down. Finally, I went to the front, and someone was sent back to help, but it took more than 20 minutes!!!!! On another trip, I had a question about where to find an item - again, no floor help anywhere to be found. Associates at the front area were abrupt and gave a short answer as though they were annoyed at my simple question. I don't plan to return, and I can't recommend this store. I am sticking to Home Goods, Kirklands (around the corner), etc. Too bad - lots of potential for a great shopping experience. read more
