Around November 6th, I needed a lash lift before my trip abroad, a little last minute so I appreciated the ease of scheduling an appointment. When I walked in, I noticed the space was clean and a comfortable temperature (I don't like to be cold during my services! lol); there were multiple seats in a row so multiple techs could work at the same time. I didn't mind it but my preference is to have my services performed in a private room. Regardless, it was a cute vibe inside so, no big deal. My technician, I forget her name, was very sweet and we had a great conversation about traveling. Overall, I feel she did a great job and the price is consistent with other businesses I have been to. It has been about a month and a half and they are still holding a nice curl, but kind of in that awkward phase so I need to go back. I would definitely return to this location. There are a lot of other great beauty services they provide! Parking can be hard depending on what day/time. I recommend just getting there early and try looking for parking in the neighborhood. This review is long overdue. Malina has been doing my lashes for about a year now (Dec 2022) and I have been so grateful for her. I just want to emphasize that my lashes are fine, short, and straight. Typical Filipino genetics. Other artists have had issues with keeping the lashes on my natural lashes but her sets always end up on my eyes for 3+ weeks, but don't wait that long lol Malina is also big on the maintenance of my natural lashes and SAVED them from a nightmare botch job. She managed to meticulously remove the super wig glue that hardened in clumps on my teeny tiny lash. Be sure to let them know ahead of time if that's the case. I have a picture of me without lashes for comparison. These lashes always look like they're naturally growling from my eyelid. Music is always bumping 2000s RnB and hip hop. This review is for the Lash Lift/Perm service with Devin. Back Story: For many years I've been doing Eye lash Extensions. And I really wasn't the best at taking care of them. So my natural lashes eventually started falling off. To give my lashes a "rest", i tried doing lash lift/perm. But it didn't look good because my lashes were short and very few. So I decided to leave my lashes alone and for the past year I've been religiously using a lash serum. Fast forward to today.. I finally have regrown my lashes! But when I use a lash curler, I notice that my lashes are coming off or being pulled. So I decided to try out Lash Lift/Perm again. Being the all-around-pampering-spot, ATPR offered this service! I communicated to Devin my concerns and inquiries about the Lash Lift service. As per usual, she was very knowledgeable and eager to answer my questions. And even during my appointment, she walked me through the whole process making sure I knew what was being done with my lashes. I have been coming to the girls at At the Powder Room now for over a year and a half now so this review is long overdue. My first experience was with Chance after I won a free set of glam lashes in one of their many contests. (They do monthly giveaways/discounts on fills and $5 off with check in!) I have been hooked ever since to say the least! I see Chance or Tear for lashes and they are both incredible and always accommodating when I have a last minute event. They'd never let me go without my lashes looking on point! They work so hard and such long hours, but always make you feel special when you come in to see them. I love these girls so much and would highly recommend them! They listen to what you want! Then there is Devin who I go to for all my skin care needs. She has really helped me understand my skin and how best to care for it! I've gained so much knowledge from her. I always enjoy my facials when I come in to see her. Even my husband is hooked!
