Rae and Felipe were extremely communicative and flexible as we developed a quote and asked many questions. We wanted to do tile ourselves (I love to learn new skills) and they were understanding and accommodating, even answering small questions and offering advice as we made a game plan. Being able to hire one trustworthy and experienced team to take care of the demo, subfloor repair, waterproofing/drywall, and miscellaneous finish work saved us so much time, energy, and money! We collected nearly 20 quotes between plumbers, subfloor specialists, and renovation companies, and the Elite team by FAR stood out as the most professional. As a woman and a younger couple, we are all too familiar with condescension, extra charges, and impatience for questions - we never felt that way with the Elite team and I absolutely trust that they do the right thing, every time, even when no one is watching. Our house is older and projects are never straightforward - unexpected twists are par for the course. Felipe & Omar would check in with us when the work hit a snag and talked through the options with us. They never made assumptions on our behalf to move faster and they always consulted us before moving forward with a plan. They treated our home like they would their own - spending time setting up protective covers on the floors/furniture and really cleaning up after any work. They are truly problem solvers and were open to our ongoing feedback and requests as they worked. We had a nightmare experience with our plumbers - administrative mistakes, permit delays, failed inspection, home damage, poor communication, quote discrepancies, etc. Meanwhile, our experience with Elite could not have been more different. Rae & Felipe were compassionate when things out of our control went wrong and were back to continue work as soon as they could. Honestly, working with Elite has helped us realize the level of professionalism that should be expected from contractors, and this experience has empowered us to advocate for ourselves with our plumbers.
