I absolutely recommend that you don't even give this gym (or any ATC fitness gym) the time of day. Even if you end your membership they'll send you to collections even having had been paid up. It's a common issue that apparently happens to many people. They're out here ruining credit in this horrible economy. They'll send you to collections with a company called 'Aldous & Associates' which acts more as a scam company than a collections company. I have absolutely great credit with no negative remarks on my report aside from this one and never have. I always pay my debs. I moved out of TN years ago and now this is on my report? Skip this mediocre gym unless you like the hassle of dealing with some shit company on the back end. I thought cancelling Gold's gym membership which is notorious for being difficult was rough but ATC definitely takes the cake. There's much better gym options out in the area with more amenities and that won't literally try to fuck your credit score up. ATC is absolute shit. read more

Personally, I really love this gym. It's open 24/7 and even on holidays, so when you have points in your life where you're practically nocturnal (like me right now), it comes in handy. It's never too full, so you can always go in and do your workout, regardless of time of day or night (although I admittedly haven't tried the crack of dawn workout lifestyle, so I can't tell you about that). The price is pretty worth it at $15 a month, although I will say that I wish they were more upfront about how there is an additional $30 fee each time you start your membership again, meaning if I come here over, winter or summer break (I'm a college student), I will have to pay the additional $30 each time I start my trial up again, which is a lot. Additional things: It's very clean, and when staff are around, they are very helpful and nice. Wide variety of machines. No classes and no personal trainers to my knowledge, so all work outs are self-led. They also give a few little passes so that you can bring a friend! Would recommend read more

So the story is I came to this gym and started ab a month ago and I really enjoyed it everything was going good until these new girls started working there and there is these massage chairs and they are great comfy chairs and just today Wednesday (December 21st 2022) I went in the room with the massage chair and this blonde girl shuts off the chair so I go up to the desk and ask why did u shut it off her words were "you can't do the chair without a membership" so then she asked me all my info like my name my last name my date of birth so I told her all that then she's like u can't use the room without the membership so my mom walked up there being p!$$3d and the ladies that just started working there were very rude I DONT RECOMMEND COMING HERE!! read more

Had horrific experience here a couple of weeks ago! Have gone to gyms for many years (I am a senior adult) and have never heard such loud banging of weights! Two boys were lifting the bar bells and dropping them on purpose - bang, bang, bang, bang. I have never known a gym to allow this! I was on the treadmill and jumped every time they did this. I kept looking up at the front desk to see if they were going to do something, but didn't look like they were. I was so uncomfortable that I just got off the treadmill early and went to the desk. I began by asking "Isn't there a rule about . . . ", but I was cut short by an employee that said "It has already been taken care of ma'am, don't be coming up here complaining." WHAT? Very rude employee!! Talked to an area director and he said "There was another side of the story." What could it possibly be? That I complained? Never got to finish my question! The message I received from ATC is "Don't complain, and weight lifters rule!' This is not a comfortable place for seniors! Will be cancelling membership! read more

Cancellation policy at this gym is garbage! Would not recommend this gym! Canceling one day late from the 30 days notification period and am expected to pay for the entire following month, no prorate. Literally 30 days notification goes to July 8th, and I'll be charged July 7th for the entire following month. Complain and all I get is a heartless robot response. read more

Meh, it's a gym and it's convenient, that's all it has going for it. Kids hogging equipment while on phone. Narrow isles which groups of 3 working out together block it off completely. No stretching equipment. No towels available and inconsiderate people don't bring one, so I get to jump on benches/equipment dripping with sweat - thanks!! Forget supersets or trisets, too crowded for that. Bicycle isn't allowed inside out of the way, but no bike rack outside. It's only $15 a month and you barely get what you pay for. Even the cheap price can't keep me here anymore, gonna try LiveFit and CrossFit instead. read more

It's your standard gym. There are no classes, but if you're a gym rat with a goal, this is for you. No B.S., just get to it. Like what other reviewers said about the friendliness, you don't get greeted when walking in or out, but I can't complain since I'm in the zone when I walk in so no need for chit chat. read more

I love this gym. There are more options in Arlington but this is, for my money and physical fitness needs, by far the best option!

I joined only because it's so convenient to get to from my house. I'm not fond of how ill placed the equipment is. The staff are a bit lackluster in my honest opinion. Everyone is friendly but it seems rather forced versus sincere. I do however love the tanning beds. Even on level 4 at 12 minutes you don't feel like you're in an oven. My previous gum, Planet Fitness was so much more fun to go to. At ATC it seems as though everyone who attends are extremely stuck up almost to the point of being rude. Instead of a smile all you get is a deer in headlights look versus a smile in return. If you're looking to make friends or have any sort of social interaction this is not the place to go. read more

People there are horrible! As the previous reviewer stated, no one greets you and management hides and does not care about customer service. I have nothing but great things to say about the YMCA, you can join as a family and they do care about customer service. Lots of community and family outreach, not to mention a pool and basketball courts along with gym equipment and a variety of classes. You will not get anything close to that at ATC. read more

Good thing about ATC it is open 24/7. If you are looking for instructor driven classes, this isn't the place for you. It has cardiovascular machines, free weights and machine weights. You get to use all this for $15 per month. However if you are into tanning you can bump up your membership and get unlimited tanning along with access to all ATC gyms. The basic membership gives you access to one (your home) gym. Arlington light hours are from 1100-1500-hrs. Then it starts to get busy. read more

I've come to appreciate this location after visiting others around town. it's clean, has a fair selection of equipment, convenient and most importantly the members are decently behaved. I've found that other locations are dull and don't have any energy or the other users get on your nerves. this Arlington location is best in both of these categories. read more
