They have an easy to use website that lists all their services, hours of operation, contact info, and pricing for everything online. Honest team, will give you good recommendations for upgrading/replacing parts for your bike if you need service or with accessories like safety products. Friendly, honest, fair priced - would absolutely go back and recommend. There isn't much room in the shop so best to make an appt for onsite servicing via email or phone.

Went to Dyad, there was one guy working there, he said his counterpart wasn't there so he wasn't…read morerenting bikes. Went to Fitz, apparently now they're Velo Quebec, nobody rents bikes there. And they told me to use a phone to call someone, and that someone forwarded me to their colleague, who is apparently a voicemail machine. The only better part about the second group is that they told me bixi doesn't exist anymore. Those were the highest rated places around. Well there was one more place nearby, so figured to give it a shot. Finally came here, and guess what? They .. rent bikes. $15 for 4 hrs. Very reasonable. Great bike, it was a Norco. Rode all around Mount Royal and it was a breeze. Brought it back, no hassle. Don't bother with the other guys, who may or may not have bikes and don't even know where to refer you. These guys will take care of you. They have lots of bikes and the guys seem to know what they're doing. Highly recommended.

The 'tattoo-guy' and 'baseball cap-guy' are also as talented, direct, and dependable. I had to ditch a bike early in the season due to rust once and they put together an affordable and adapted 'Frankenstein' bike for me to last the season. No frills great service. Definitely worth going to.

I brought in my winter bike, which was rough around the edges, but it was, after all, my winter beast bike. Mr. Tattoo said the chain was loose and may interfere with shifting, and I said that it wasn't a big deal. I didn't need it in high performance condition. "I'll just fix the things that are broken for now (front brakes, front derailleur)". Then the white-haired dude saw that my fork was rusting out, I thought yeah, we should replace that. Then white-haired dude said in the most dour way possible, "No, we're not gonna work on your bike. It's for the trash." Far from it! Everything else was functioning, the frame was in decent shape, it had winter tires valued at $130 each. If you're in the neighbourhood, I recommend La Bicycletterie J.R. on Rachel instead.

I held off on a negative review for nearly a year, giving the benefit of the doubt. I purchased a Schindelhauer bike from them and the online payment system calculated purchase and shipping (great price). This was a mistake with the payment system and I called the next day and we figured out shipping. The bike arrived damaged unfortunately. I took dozens of photos and tried to submit to ups directly. Unfortunately a damage claim has to be submitted by the shipper. This involved UPS and a shipping company they use called freightcom. Velo lifestyles blamed freightcom, so I reached out to freightcom.... They blamed velo... you see where this is going. Keep in mind this is nearly a year into this! I had an unusable bike until the manufacturer actually sent me a fender to mount. I originally had tried to bend the damage away from the tire to make the bike usable. I give credit to Schindelhauer for providing the part... it really wasn't their issue. Velo put it off so long I emailed Germany and got it myself! They now claim that they no longer ship to the United States due to shipping issues. I would avoid purchasing from this company due to a shady handling of the shipping claim. They seem nice on the phone and might be a good option if you pick up in person. I can speak to my experience with them. I would avoid any business that won't support their customers or stand behind a sale.

All I know, the cafe has a bike hanging on the wall. The place took me by surprise; it is a boutique of bikes and its accessories. Plus they repair the bikes too. When you enter deep into the boutique, on the left hand side, there is the coffeeshop. It's an interesting concept. While your bike is being repaired, have a cup of coffee! While you shop around for a bike, have a cup of coffee. The clerk/server was really sweet; she gave us tour of the shop and our lattes. It was bit bitter for my taste, but I was enjoying too much the place itself. We got to meet the owner, who showed his special bicycle that he used it to across Canada! Very impressive! Fans of coffee or bicyclists, do visit this place!

Do not shop here if you are not certain and absolutely do not trust any sales representatives. Unbelievable. I will escalate this as far as I can.
