I would give this a 5 star review except that the store is somewhat small and feels crowded as soon as two or more people come in behind you. Although recently I have had no choice and I must say it's not as bad as I remember it. This office is quite small but is conveniently located within the shopping centre, but also near an entrance, so easy to get to. They have great opening hours - much better than most government agencies. I usually only go here when I need to make a claim as it is so easy. You just go in with your receipt and medicare card and they give you the cash back straight away. I have never had to wait more than about 5 or 10 minutes, which I thought was pretty good. And to think I used to fill out forms and post them off and then wait weeks to get a cheque back and then go to the bank to deposit it and wait 3 days for it to clear when it was this easy all along to do at their office. I also realised last time I was in there that they have a Family Assistance Office in here as well. Not quite sure the benefits as I always thought you had to go through Centrelink for FAO stuff but they had forms available here as well.

Maybe they've had problems with irate clients ...because forcing 'customers' to converse through a handful of tiny holes in protective glass would be good way to fix that problem... I wouldn't say they're a miserable bunch, but they're not overly friendly either. And they're certainly not in a rush. A get in, do the job and get out mentality. But of course they do get the job done. So if it's handy to you then that's what really matters. What to say about nail polish for sale in a post office? ...huh?

I wouldn't necessarily say that it is impressive, not compared to some churches that I've visited, but for a cathedral in Australia, it still isn't all that bad.

I went on the "Half-day Adelaide and Hahndorf Tour" and it was marvellous. Our group was picked up…read moreby our guide, David, at the Hilton. We were shown around the city and given lots of fascinating background information. We saw and heard about Adelaide history and passed by several places of interest. We stopped in to see the newly renovated Adelaide Oval then made our way up into the Adelaide Hills. The peak of Mt Lofty has a glorious view and we enjoyed that with a short stop. We then went on to Hahndorf. We had free time here to explore the main street, where there are shops, cafes and other things of German culture to investigate. Our schedule was managed very carefully and we left Hahndorf in good time to get back to the city as planned. Overall, this tour and our guide was excellent. I would recommend this tour and would definitely choose them for another tour in the future. Well done.
