Brookhill is a Christ based school, and teaches outside of the normal "public" school guidelines. This, we appreciate, and respect- but, what we didn't like is the following: 1. "Certain" parents seem to get an obnoxious amount of special treatment. When a particularly well known family has a private parking space, and Teachers personally walk their children out to a certain Mercedes SUV, this is (in my opinion) sending the wrong message to other children. Not to mention- it doesn't seem Godlike... 2. The constant begging for additional money. Seriously, this is nonstop, and they even solicit the grandparents. Listen- I spent approximately $10K a year to send my son to your school; I really don't need to donate additional funds. Hit up the Mercedes mom! 3. The School Functions should focus on the children, but it seems more like an opportunity for the parents to exude their pretentious, and obnoxious demeanors. Sans Teachers, this seems to be a normal environment at Brookhill. Great Teachers, but unfortunately, I can't offer many positives on the Brookhill Admin, or the parents. I'm so thankful for MPS and the love that's been poured into our son and his education. We weren't just seeking education for him when we found MPS. We wanted him to have the opportunity to thrive, contribute, and make a positive impact wherever he went - somewhere he could further his character and deepen his faith. During this time, we volunteered and gave to the school as much as we were able because we wanted to support the community our children were in. Beginning in September of 2025, we began to have concerns about behaviors / conversations occurring and it continued throughout the school year. We always tried to be gentle and respectful when bringing these concerns to the attention of administrators. Finally, with two weeks of school left, we made the decision to completely withdraw and cancel the re-enrollment of both of our children after our safety concerns were met with a refusal for answers, zero accountability, hostility and even pitting families against one another. I won't claim to have handled this perfectly because there was so much frustration once we started being treated poorly simply for having concerns and being denied answers from individuals who our children were under the care of for 30+ hours per week. I explained many times that I did not expect personal information of any student, I just wanted clarification on policies, what behaviors would or would not be allowed, and how similar situations would be handled in the future. As a Christian Private School - which MPS claims to be - with so many children under their care, they are absolutely held to a higher standard and should be able to have hard conversations, be accountable, professional and respectful to ALL families - especially when it comes to the safety of their children. The repeated phrase of admin was that how we feel is not their responsibility and if we don't like it we can withdraw - which is exactly what we did. Added for perspective - I want to draw your attention to the laugh reactions on our reviews. These are from a current teacher at MPS (admin's mother) and the BIBLE teacher at MPS (admin's husband) - neither of which were involved with any of our communications. Sadly, it just continues to prove our point. If at the time you are ready this they are no longer there, it may be because they realized as much.

She has a gift in helping others truly understand what they are learning. I highly recommend LELA Academy to anyone who doesn't do well in the public school system. Students can learn at their own pace at LELA which is helpful for the many people who struggle with the pacing in other environments. If for any reason your child is not happy or excelling in a traditional school system, LELA Academy is the way to go. I am still in touch with Mrs. Lilly today despite being 22 and on my own.
