I wish we could do 1/2 stars on here. I enjoy Children's Place because they have cute clothes and…read moreaffordable prices. There is typically a sale, coupon, or rewards points to use never to pay full price. However, sometimes they lack variety in bottoms. Once you've purchased all the jeans, it does not seem like they come out with new styles or colors. However, that is a company issue, not this particular store. This store is very small, cluttered, and congested. Navigating through this store with a purse and children (god forbid a stroller) is a nightmare. They do an okay job of trying to keep things organized, but with so much merchandise in such a little space it is challenging. My major complaint with this store is I can NEVER get in and out. I always spend at LEAST ten minutes in line, and I am not exaggerating. Whether I'm shopping, picking up, or doing a return, the transactions always take FOREVER. It is beyond annoying. There is typically only one registration open, and only once the line gets about five deep and people are trying to figure out were to stand in this crammed store will they open another one. Just ugh. The clothes are of decent quality, they last okay, but do not waste your time with their casual shoes (sandals and flats for girls are fine). Overall, this store needs to be remodeled. The clothes are cute, and the prices are reasonable, but I do not like coming in here. I mainly shop online.

The clothes here are in poor taste. All of the girls' clothing was EXTREMELY prissy. Nobody wants…read moreunicorns on everything. My daughter was even disgusted that everything was pastel and fairy-tale-ish. Aside from the lack of taste for girl's clothing, this store...this SPECIFIC location...is the WORST LAYOUT of a store that I have ever seen. There is approximately 6-8 inches between each rack of clothing that you have to turn sideways and brush against all of the clothes to get through. If you have kids with you, forget it. They'll get lost in the heaps of stock piled everywhere. If management were smart, they'd move out into a bigger space. (Or quit, and work for a more tasteful line of kid's clothing. Children's Place, take note, you look like the Justice store.)

When I went to check-out, the cashier was super friendly and helpful. She helped me check for a GAP rewards account and was patient when my email didn't return results. When I finally got access, she applied all the discounts and rewards cash possible to lower my final total from $50 to just over $30! Many thanks to the sweetest cashier ever!

This review pertains both to the products in general and to this particular store. I find GAP to be a good place to buy jeans, shorts, skirts, sweaters, tees, and tanks; GAP Body is great for workout clothes, lounge wear, and bras. I'm a 36A which is difficult to find in many stores (all about that bass, no treble) but GAP Body stocks plenty of them. I also like the frequent sales and the 10% off on Tuesdays for GAP card holders. Dresses at GAP are an epic fail. Almost every dress is shaped liked a burlap sack: super boxy, with maybe a drop waist if you're lucky. Very unflattering. Their dresses are just not for me, and I always see tons of them on the clearance rack because no one else bought them either. Quality of the clothing is not as good as it was years ago, and the color pallette has become too muted, at least for women's clothing. There's too much of that muted dark blue color in particular. This location, while bright and spacious, suffers in service and cleanliness. The dressing rooms are always dirty and in dire need of a Swiffer. What is the point of having a shelf in the dress room if no one wants to set anything on it because it's covered in dust? There are dust bunnies on the floor too - unacceptable. And no one ever greets me or assists me on the floor. Staff are consistently MIA. So this location is great for shoppers who want to be left alone, but it sucks if you need help finding a size or have a question - good luck finding someone.
