He didn't show up for scheduled follow-up appts, never saw or called me in the hospital. Nor did he send a replacement. Weeks later, I underwent a second, emergency replacement of Schultz's replacement. Five weeks after the surgery, I suffered two separate dislocations and screaming ambulance trips because he left me so damaged. I even required ADDITIONAL surgery and extremely difficult repairs a few years after the second replacement. I'm now seriously and permanently disabled. And his online photo is at least 25 years old. Just one more lie. James Moravek didn't listen to me for a YEAR while I told him I was in pain after a shoulder replacement. When he finally took images, there were fractures in my scapula from the screws. He told me he would repair and replace it again. Instead I woke up with half of the original replacement. I now have NO shoulder. JAMES TELFER called me a "problem child" when the shoulder surgery he performed didn't work. A surgeon in another practice fixed it. MASINI massively underestimated the care I'd need after my fourth hip surgery. The last time I saw him, he told me to call him in a few weeks to get more information about a question I had. My messages to him went ignored for months. When I repeatedly inquired, I finally got a message to call for an appointment with him. I immediately did, but was told he had retired. I had no notice of that, and telling me to call for an appointment with HIM was obviously a lie. He was gone. They just wanted me to stay with the practice. They offered me SCHULTZ. (see above.) Then they suggested I see Masini's PA, MATT. I'd already told the practice I never wanted to see Matt again. I've never met a more dismissive pat-her-on-the-shoulder-and-get-rid-of-her man in my life. And I've met plenty. This place is a nightmare.

So how it works…read more- based on an estimate of what they predict your insurance will cover - you pay the amount of that estimate immediately after the appointment. Then after submitting it to insurance, if they overcharged you, you get the difference back in credit towards future services or a refund check. I spent the majority of the first session filling out a survey - this could have been done ahead of time with my other paperwork. They are also insisting I come 3 days a week, which I am pushing back against. If it is that urgent, please make the sessions a bit more productive.

I remember when I showed up for my first appointment all of the staff already knew my name and were very welcoming and I distinctly recall being very impressed by that. They're all very invested in each patient's recovery and it was always very clear to me that they had my best interest in mind. PT can be pretty painful/uncomfortable/hard at times and they're very good at knowing just how much to push you. I was also really impressed with how flexible the scheduling is - there were a number of times where I had to come in before work and it was nice that they had such early hours, and I also rescheduled appointments around a fair amount (even the same day) and they were very accommodating.

We had heard good things about Medsport so she decided to start going there. It was definitely the right call. They've been great to her! I stopped in yesterday during one of her appointments and observed the exercises they were doing with her and I was really impressed. You could tell they were really working on strengthening not just her foot but the whole leg which had been underutilized since she's been off that side since August. The physical therapists were warm and encouraging. They pushed her without being overly agressive. After some stretches and exercises they also took some time to manipulate and massage her foot to really work the muscles deeply. The facility is clean and spacious. When I was there there weren't a ton of patients so it wasn't crowded or overwhelming. The machines very from stuff you'll see at your local gym to some state of the art equipment. They also offer aquatherapy which allows the patient to do work without a lot of the pressure on the injuries that normal workouts might put on them. I've been really impressed with how fast my mom's gotten back on her feet. She's already walking without crutches around the house. A lot of it is her own determination to get back to normal by diligently working on her exercises at home but I also have to credit MedSport for their fantastic work as well. I have back problems and I'm already planning on asking my doctor for a referral to go do some PT there as well.

My mom has been a patient at the Redies Center three times in the last five years. The first time…read morewas for rehab for a hip replacement and it was fantastic. The second time was this past June when she was recovering from a gallbladder episode and that too went well. She had another gallbladder episode in Sept which necessitated the removal of her gallbladder and this time her time at the Redies Center was definitely sub par. We found out after we checked her out this week that they had been giving her an anti-depressant to "stimulate her appetite" which her regular dr then informed us has the unwelcome side effect of making a older person very sleepy. So no wonder once they started giving her that, she was unable to attend physical therapy which then created a scenario in which Medicare would not allow her to stay. She went from being fairly alert one week to being practically comatose when I came the next week. I truly thought she was dying when I saw her condition. Her friends who were visiting daily and keeping an eye on her told me that they were not showering her regularly and there were several episodes where they found her medication lying on the floor. I had asked the Redies to give me regular updates to let me know if there were any issues with her not participating in things and I never got one phone call. Then I find out they are discharging her for lack of progress. Well no wonder she wasn't progressing because she was basically being sedated. If I ever had to get rehab for her again, it would not be there.

Dr. Yarrows did not take the time to perform the full physical, even though that was requested, and only was in the room for 10 min. I thought it was just easier than most visits, until I was billed for an office visit and charged a co-pay. The billing company and the clinic both stated that since a physical wasn't performed, the visit was considered an office visit, and that we are responsible for the payment. Not only did I not receive the services that I needed, but we were charged for something completely separate that I didn't ask for. The clinic was not sympathetic to the frustration, would not re-code the visit, and we had to pay the bill.
