I wanted somebody closer to home and with years of experience. I made the appointment, read some reviews (all good) and met Dr. Rebock. Great personality, wonderful man, I knew I'd be in excellent hands. And it turns out, we have a mutual friend, another physician with whom he did his residency! Small world. Set up the surgery date with the front office, also excellent and friendly folks, and on June 25 went under the knife (open hernia repair). Too many people to name, but nurses, technicians, anesthesiologist, all were great pre and post op. I'm still on my way to recovery as this one was a mess, but next time I need surgery, and if it's within his realm, Dr. Rebock is where I'll go.

He came highly recommended by my family doctor and then when someone who works at Botsford, they too said he was awesome and a top notch doctor. I had inguinal hernia surgery. The appointments before hand were pretty quick. Parking was not an issue and he did a great job of calming my nerves about it. He told me all of my options and made recommendations on which one he would do based off of my concerns. The day after surgery I walked for a mile. The next week I was ahead of schedule and probably getting a little bit too far ahead of myself. I really pushed his work to the max and it held up perfectly. 2 months later I was playing baseball (which obviously relies on twisting the abdomen) and a year and a half later it has not reoccurred. He gives you a good time line as far as what to expect and when you can do certain activities.

As someone who is hyper mobile it's really important to have someone with a holistic approach, Someone who knows what they are doing completely, and that person is Dr. Zach Simpkins. Going to the chiropractor is always fun when you go see Zach. He uses a combination approach so you get exercises along with your adjustment to strengthen your body in weak areas. I highly recommend him, but everyone does so it's probably gonna be hard to get an appointment. He recently hired another chiropractor to work with him (Dr. Tyler Beck), and I would trust his judgment.

My car was in the shop, Dr. Mark's office was close enough to walk from my house, and he would work with my insurance. They also had evening appointments a few days a week. This all sounded promising. I'm picky about chiropractors, and a somewhat skeptical person by nature. My dad is the same way, and he'd heard positive things about Dr. Mark. He didn't disappoint. He was able to get rid of the tingling and slight numbness of my right arm pretty quickly. I still needed physical therapy, but Dr. Mark was respectful of the advice I was getting from my physical therapist as well as my doctor and spine specialist. As soon as I was doing better, Dr. Mark was fine with letting me schedule appointments as needed. I really appreciate this -- I'm wary of chiropractors who seem to be pushing you to schedule visits forever and ever. His desk staff are sweet and extremely helpful (helped me order a special item and even called to follow up when it was on backorder), and billing has never been a problem or gotten screwy. When I've been traveling too much, attempted to lift or lug something wrong, or have something that feels a little funny in my neck, Community Chiropractic is usually the first place I call. When one drives in from the entrance way one looks over to the left and sees this cream colored building, that could pass for an old office building or apartment complex, only when you are nearer to it huge letters and signs state "EMERGENCY" and "AMBULANCE" lets you know that this in fact is a hospital. The directions are quite good, and one soon finds oneself at the area one needs to be at. The check-in process is handled by a nice friendly and smiling filipino nurse, and one feels instantly at home or maybe a hotel for the night. The sleep-study room is aptly decorated with a closet a bathroom a bed and a tv. You are told that it is a painless procedure and they will hook you up when you are relaxed and ready. It even has free wifi so one can yelp!! The room looks clean and cozy. Does not smell like a hospital at all. And I will finish my review of this place tomorrow morning when I am ready to go home. Next morning: woken up at 7:10am sleep study done. Will know outcome in 2weeks stated the nice friendly lab tech. You are all set to go just fill up the questionnaire before you do. I thanked him and hurriedly dressed up to leave. The bed was kinda hard coupled with all the wire hookups from head to toe I won't say I had the best sleep last night. I remember waking up and tossing and turning quite a bit, and normally I sleep like a log. But overall I slept. That is what I came here to do. I will probably go home and go back to a few hrs sleep. But then again I may not because after driving for the next 33 miles I think I would wake up totally. Overall, nice clean and quiet place. And it is a cancer institute. So if I know anyone with cancer I will surely recommend this place.

Dr Sukhon and his nurses are great; however, his office personnel/office manager are TERRIBLE…read more After a YEAR of waiting to get my medical records (granted I wasn't pressed at the time) I finally desperately needed them and it took another MONTH of twice weekly calls and having to express my dissatisfaction loudly before they even put me in touch with that incompetant office manager. Apparently she had not even submmited the request yet to get them from off site (and this was a month of almost daily calls later) and it would be another week. She then had the nerve to bring up charges were necessary. Shouldn't that come up when I FIRST made the request? 5 star doctor, 0 Star Office. Would not go back unless he replaces them. It's also impossible to get a hold of the actual Doctor by phone as his receptionists just claims its not their problem, the Office Manager - whom does not have normal working hours or a phone number - will contact you, which she never does.

In regards to the medical record complaint, we have a lot of medical record requests and we have to address them in the order they come. Sorry that you feel yours wasn't addressed in a timely manner, but I assure you we have great patient care and never meant to make you feel otherwise. If medical records are requested around the time of transfer and not years later it is also takes much less time to send. After a certain amount of years records have to go to storage. We have to make sure all records are sent accordingly as well as maintain the office appropriately. Sorry for any inconvenience.
