Arrived at 5:35 for a 6:00 PM appointment -- my first visit ever for a back injury. Already completed all the paperwork online, but they handed me the same forms to fill out again at the front desk. Fine, I did it. Then I was told to have a seat. 6:00 came and went. Other patients walked in after me and were taken back immediately. 6:05... 6:10... still sitting there. No update. No "we're running behind." No acknowledgment that I existed. At 6:12 I got up and walked out. Not a single person called my name, checked on me, or even looked up. Twelve minutes past my appointment time and I was treated like I wasn't even in the building. This was my very first PT visit -- I came in dealing with a back injury and left dealing with frustration. If this is how you treat new patients, I can only imagine how it goes from there. After a number of attempts to contact ATI on this to no avail, I'll leave a brief review here. ATI in general took over two weeks to get the first available appointment anywhere in the city. PT on-site, Ralph who did my intake, seemingly did not review my online or day of paper intake, instead only reading my PCPs referral. Did not preform a meaningful functional assessment and reverted to a standard medical dismissive trope. He listens only to speak, will interrupt or speak over you, was dismissive, and spoke to me as if I was new to having a body, pain, living, or PT. ATI can contact for more information as everything is automated and Ai based so it's a little challenging to get in touch with a human at a certain level. On another review, ATI asked me to call a number which was the same general number. After calling, being transferred 3 times, sent to billing, and never speaking to anyone in the Patient Advocate Team I'm happy to share what I've learned. They can only be reached at patientadvocate@atipt.com The day I left my review they added a tele PT appt charge to my account then dismissed me as a patient, on a Sunday. They called me once they received referral from my Dr. Gave me an appointment then same day canceled said appointment and told me to call back. Called today and got some very rude woman who seemed to not know how to make an appointment or find a referral. I was on the phone repeating information over and over until I finally said I'll call my Dr's office and get a new referral to a new provider since you all do not seem to know how to provide service or make appointments for patients. I'm saving you all the headaches just skip them and find another provider. read more

Went for my first PTH visit today post a bimalleolar ankle fracture with a Fibulink for the syndesmosis joint. This is a long healing process, nearly 9-12 months. I have been doing a great deal of at home range of motion exercises with the ankle and feeling pretty darn good. Surgeon sent me to physical therapy, though I thought, "why do I need it" I am doing a lot with my ankle and it is healing beautifully"? WELL!! The reason you follow your doctors orders is because while I have been doing the "ankle", I forgot about other muscle groups and today I realized, "ah ha" this is why they do what they do and are in this business. My quad was like "we liked not working too much for the past 10 weeks"... (insert smirk) This location is so wonderful (aside from parking challenges) the staff all eager, kind, involved, caring and knowledgeable and smiling. While I was there to get better it also felt welcoming and you could tell others were benefiting from their treatments too. This was unexpected for me. I was thinking how to not have to do therapy and after my visit today, understand well why I need to do the therapy and need this team of humans. I sustained a bad injury and do not want to walk with a limp or pain. I can see now why this therapy will be critical for my well being and future, thanks to their regiment and program. Thanks to Dr. Juan and the therapists who clearly are in this for the right reasons, to get you back to living. The Sahara location will have my business for as long as I am required, and working in healthcare this will also be a location I recommend for our referrals for our patients. read more

I waited almost 2 weeks to get into this place. The therepest gave me no time. He interviewed me about my issues in the middle of the reception area with no privacy. Very unprofessional. He gave me less than 10 minutes of his time and sent me excercises on my phone to do. He couldn't even take the time to go over them with me. He was too busy eating his potato chips to be concered about me and my issues. STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION. I tried several times to change locations but it takes an act of congress to do so. They are very uncoopertive to change locations. Must be a franchise company. read more

The moment I walked in I was greeted right away then the Physical Therapist asked questions and did his evaluation. Then they started to treat me first with warm very nice heating pads on my shoulder and my neck, afterwards I started with different exercises to strengthen the muscles I believe. I worked with different ones they were all very nice and when I wasn't doing the exercise correctly I don't recall his name but he is very nice and Tall, he showed me the correct way to do the exercise. Also, Elijah he would always ask how I was doing and I remember the last day I was there Elijah came over and asked if I had any questions and that I could ask him any time. I also loved how clean this establishment was and yes even the restrooms. Not only that but if you use a band, ball or even the table they are always cleaning up so that right there definitely impressed me. I've been at the location by 215 and Sunset over there I went maybe twice but I noticed that the young workers were all together talking but not cleaning up the equipment or the tables or even helping the customers out. So I didn't go back. However, at ATI Physical Therapy on 10000 West Sahara Ave definitely the Best place in Nevada hands down. read more

My first experience at this business was very good. I brought the ATI online forms filled out to my appointment. I was given a few more forms to sign upon arrival. I feel that PT Patrick diagnosed me well. He asked me questions and assessed me. He then had me do warm-up exercises such as a recumbent bike. He introduced me to two 'assistants'. Upon his directions, they cycled me through the PT routines. While I was doing my routines the smell of cleaner permeated the air. When they were not with a client, the assistants were cleaning equipment! Patrick completed the session with more physical therapy 'moves'. He also told me what I should avoid/refrain from doing based on my condition. Patrick printed out some exercises/routines for me to do at home. I asked questions and he answered them to my satisfaction. Before I left, I asked if they were going to collect my copay; I don't like receiving bills after the fact (kind of odd I had to ask because usually copays are collected at the initial intake time). Everyone was courteous and professional. We'll see how it goes with billing and my health insurance. Hoping my insurance stays true to their word (and all I owe is the copay) when I inquired about this over the phone prior to the appointment (everyone said "in-network"). I'd like to return but unfortunately due to my high copay, I'll probably utilize the Telehealth option if I feel I need further assistance. Upon inquiry, they explained how to utilize the Telehealth option (data that is mentioned on their website), and answered my questions about that as well. If all goes well with billing, then this was a very good experience and I would use them again for my PT needs. read more

I was very impressed by the professional and personal therapy I received at ATI. The scheduling allowed for each client to have full supervision in a timely manner. Even when sometimes busy, everyone still had smiles and kind words. It was a very warm and pleasant atmosphere, and place where "everyone knows your name." I started my thereapy at ATI after I had my right shoulder total replacement surgery. At first I could raise my arm only 2 inches from my thigh while sitting. When I finished my therapy, I was able to do just about everything a healthy, normal shoulder allows. The quality of care was above excellent. I'd love to single out particular staff but, honesty, every one was terrific. If you need physical therapy, Go ATI! read more

My parents speak limited English. We speak 3 languages in all. So when the scheduling team called me to make an appt for my dad, i asked if anyone was there that could speak Chinese. She said no, so i asked for a Spanish speaker to be there, and I would send Mom so she could help translate for Dad. Mom's tri-ligual, Dad speaks Chinese. For their initial intake today, they met with the doctor, and Mom said all the doctor did was yell, "they don't understand!" My mom told her, yes, we don't. little by little, she did say the doctor eased up and was fine towards the end, but why did I bother asking for a Spanish speaker to be present if none was, and yelling doesnt help them UNDERSTAND English better. They can HEAR you just fine. That needs to be worked on. I wasn't there, but I doubt my parents would come home and tell me otherwise. For that reason, they get 2 stars, and not 1. read more

Beware if they tell you that you will have no out of pocket cost and that your insurance will cover everything, We were told that on two occasions by two different staff members before my wife started treatment. Then the bills started coming. Check with your insurance company for any possible co pays first. It appears to me that either through ignorance or deliberately they will say anything to get you to use their service. read more

After reading some of these reviews, I can't believe we all went to the same place! The people in there were nothing but professional, and were always close if I had an issue with an exercise or if something hurt, they would tell me to just relax, and will get back to it! I mean, I am an adult and if they show me an exercise and I'm to do it 30 times do I really need somebody standing there babysitting me? My last day, there was sad for me! The majority of the therapists were young enough to be my grandchildren, and they all treated me with respect and dignity! If I ever need PT again, this is the only place I would ever go to! I guess the old saying of you get out of something what do you put into it! They are wonderful! read more

I have never been to a PT facility where you're given a program of exercises after being evaluated and you never interact with the actual physical therapist. The one star I gave was for the three times I actually had the therapist do a massage of an area that was being treated without having to be asked. I have had three different sessions with ATI and I will never see them again. I have had three different therapists for the three stints with two leaving without them telling me they were leaving. This is not a good healing atmosphere when you're treated like a number in a computer. Unfortunately ATI Facilities were the only ones my insurance allowed. Fortunately I now have a PCP that allows me to go to a better run health facility. What a difference! read more

The assistants were courteous, but only ran me through the same exercises while the therapists sat at their desk and either ate lunch or used the massage machine on their own thigh! This place makes me so happy! With the help of the staff here, I was able to completely change my quality of life. I have been seen here for 2 issues- the first was for my upper back, the second was for knee pain. Rhea was my therapist, she took her time talking to me and was so friendly and welcoming. I really appreciated her professionalism and expertise. She was patient with me while learning my exercises and various questions that I had. While most people who come here are dealing with some level of pain, the staff is just so great and offers real solutions. Simply the best service, they even offered me ice at the end of my session the other day. read more

Feel like this place was a complete ripoff. I was told that, if my insurance didn't cover it, it would be $85 a visit. Well, AFTER insurance coverage, I was charged about $144 a visit. I went to the W Sahara location because it was the only one with hours that could accommodate my work schedule. While I do agree that most of the staff cares, the business model is a joke and most adults will not see significant improvement from using their services. You literally would get the same results just getting a list of exercises online with a video of how to complete them and being responsible about doing them. After my second visit no one paid any attention to whether I was actually doing the exercises assigned to me or if I was doing them correctly. My form was never corrected once in the 3 months I went there. I watched many others do exercises incorrectly knowing they were getting no value from the time spent and no one cared to correct them. As a former dancer who has done PT before, I have NEVER been given a list of exercises and then basically ignored as long as I showed up and paid my fee. Their idea of a progress report was to ask me if I felt better. That was it. No range of motion testing or pain level analysis. What they did do was harass the heck out of me to leave them a 5 star review online. I continued to refuse the write one until I completed my therapy program, and finally had to block them on my email. The worst part was their call center and billing. Multiple times when my work schedule changed, I could not get through on the phone to make changes to my appointments. Often the person on the other end was rude or clueless. I finally just gave up and no showed when I couldn't make it. The staff at each office honestly guess at what they are supposed to charge you if you have covered your deductible. I ended up owing an additional $37.50 at the end of my visits. I went online to pay the bill and suddenly I was being charged $52.50. There was nothing online to explain the extra $15 charge which wasn't on the paper bill I received. I called them and was told that I owed $52.50, not $37.50, but the person I spoke to was unable to do basic math and also couldn't explain to me where the extra $15 fee came from. I was told that my only option was to pay the full amount, which I refused. I asked to have the issue escalated. I waited a week and have never heard back. I finally bought a money order and mailed in the bill old school for $37.50. If there is any other option in network if I have to go back to PT, I will not use them again. The business model is a step up from a marketing scheme. read more

I went to the facility on Durango,Las Vegas,NV for 2 1/2 months after meniscus surgery in 2022, no one worked one on one with me I did not improve at all, they just continued to schedule me to come back, and I was moving to another state at the end of June and was not better, Matt suggested I buy a book on amazon called know your pain insinuating it was all in my head, when I finally got settled in Florida I went to the Andrews Institute were I was diagnosed with severe hip arthritis, and needed a hip replacement, I was told the therapist should have realized something else was happening and informed the surgeon, he should have never implied that I was imagining my pain, with all of this being said I am scheduled for hip replacement in January and am now with real professional healthcare professionals, ATI just wanted my money. read more

What an odd experience. I felt like I could have had a Zoom call with a PT and then gotten a list of exercises to do on my own. Or heck, just watched a YT series on various body stretches. I had an initial session with the PT who was professional, courteous and caring. She seemed careful to get the general picture of my pain and where it was located. But then she took me into the general area to lie down on the bed to begin some exercises. Without any guidance as to what was to happen next, I was surprised by another staff instructing me to perform a few sets of an exercise. Oh, I guess the PT's job is over. I didn't realize we were changing staff persons. Apparently I was handed off. But there was no self-introduction, welcome, or anything friendly or warm. Just explaining the exercise. Then, not only was I NOT shown the proper form or given pointers on how to properly do the exercise, I was left performing the moves on my own without supervision. Sure, they weren't hard, but this was odd. They told me what to do and just walked away. I was shocked. I then had signal over to them that I was done--somewhat difficult as he was across the room and chatting with other staff. The staff member came back over and gave me further instructions on the next exercise's sets-reps. Then disappear again, as I did them on my own again with no instruction or supervision. As I said, these aren't hard exercises (difficult because of my pain), but I'm sure that there are important points to highlight, like keeping shoulders down a certain way and/or concentrate on stretching certain muscle groups relaxing, maintaining a certain pace, coordinating with breathing in and out, etc. Nope. No quality instructions. No personal attention. I felt like I was a mouse moved from task to task. Before I knew it, that staff person had vanished. Guess what? His shift had ended and he just took off without a goodbye, no transfer of service like "I'm going to be putting you in the good hands of ___" -- NOTHING respectable resembling customer service. Literally just walked out the door. Left me wondering who is my instructor now?? Who does that?? What company allows this? I had finished my sets/reps and had some time to spare, so I did some more. As I wondered who would take up his shift with me, I didn't know who to flag down now. So I waited. It took them a while to "remember" I was there. "Oh, yeah, he's still there on that table." expression on their faces. Seriously. This was the strangest experience in LACK of personal one-on-one attention ever. No one introduced themselves other than the initial PT who did the inquiry session. No one seemed to care about my experience there. As I walked out, no goodbye, no see you next time. It's like it was a demonstration on how to provide as little attention as possible. Very other worldly. read more

it's been a while since i was discharged from ATI's care but i won't be able to live with myself if i didn't write exactly how i felt & still feel & think about this healthcare facility. they do care. the PTs & techs were great, they helped me walk again. & for that, i will always be grateful. there is one person though that stood out. since i worked as a nurse in the past, i was very particular with the sanitation & safety of all patients. i saw the extraordinary efforts of Justin who would sanitize all equipments after each patient's use, even the bands for exercises. he was so conscientious & a really hard worker. although i have to say everyone was friendly yet professional & made me look forward to each session i had to attend. thank you so much for a job well done & i hope to see you all again if ever i need to have physical therapy again. read more

Wow! This is the first time using a physical therapist and I am incredibly glad I was referred here by my Ortho. David was my pt and he was so incredibly pleasant and thorough. I couldn't have felt more comfortable. We talked over what I was having problems with and then we went thru a few different steps to pin point my problem. Not to bore you with specifics - but to sum it up: he was very knowledgeable and helpful and I have a feeling I will be back to running sooner than I thought. Very happy with this place. There are several issues with this facility. First and foremost, i dont feel they properly identified my actual issue. I told them over and over and they just continued on their course of action. Never really addressing my actual concern. The initial evaluation was odd. The person who conducted it was aloof and acted disinterested. Then i was sent out on the floor to do various pt. This is strange, not one person is actially assigned to you nor do they supervise for form and posture. I found myself constantly looking for someone to instruct me on the next thing to do. What a strange system. I took a look at what they are charging my insurance and let's just say the picture becomes more clear. For what they are billing my insurance i should have recieved caviar service hand fed to me by bikini clad super models. I will say that the few people i had contact with were very nice and friendly with the exception of the guy who did my initial evaluation. Several times i would walk and say hello to him and he just ignored me. That is a huge pet peeve of mine. It is rude and unprofessional. I was also told after i mentioned for the third or fourth time about what was really bothering me, that new exercises would be added the next time to address the issue i was having. Needless to say that never happened either. I decided to cancel the rest of my sessions as i have neither the time to waste nor do i feel that they were really interested in anything but billing my insurance company. read more
