Extremely disappointed with ATI Physical Therapy and their billing practices. Before I even scheduled my first appointment, I specifically asked them to verify my insurance and tell me exactly what my cost would be per visit. I was told it would be approximately $60. I intentionally waited several days for them to verify my insurance information before moving forward because I wanted to know the cost upfront. At my first visit, I was charged $65. It was $5 more than quoted, but I didn't make an issue of it. Now, approximately 25 days later, ATI is trying to charge me an ADDITIONAL $95 for that same visit. That brings the total cost of ONE physical therapy visit to $160. When I called customer service, I was told the original $65 was supposedly only a "deposit." That was NEVER explained to me. Had I been told that $65 was simply a deposit and that I could later be billed another $95, I would have never agreed to the appointment. What makes this especially frustrating is that I specifically asked for the cost BEFORE scheduling and gave them time to verify everything with my insurance. Their customer service experience only made the situation worse. Patients deserve transparency about what they are agreeing to pay. Quoting someone around $60, collecting $65 at the appointment, and then nearly a month later billing another $95 is completely unacceptable to me. I would absolutely NOT recommend ATI Physical Therapy based on my experience. If you decide to use them, I strongly recommend getting your expected TOTAL cost in writing before receiving any services. read more

I went to 8551 W Lake Mead location and the front desk receptionist was great! Very cheerful and knowledgeable. she knew almost every patient by name and remembered me after just one visit. Cherie O'Clare was was my therapist and I loved her manner and confidence in what she was doing while always being willing to listen without interruptin. I saw her do this with each one of her patients while I was there. I feel like I achieved the necessary knowledge of what, and how, along with the encouragement, to do my homework to keep my body strong and healthy And not have anymore issues with weak pelvic floor muscles. Watch out for hidden fees! First of all, the care I received at this outfit was minimal. Read the 1 star reviews to see what I mean. But that's not my complaint. I went to ATI for two sessions and they billed my insurance $250 for each one, and charged me a $25 copay. I agreed to the copay, but two months later I received a bill for $99! ATI informed me on the statement that my copay was actually $75! They didn't bother to tell me this at the time. To the best of my knowledge, billing a customer for a charge they were never informed of at the time is a type of consumer fraud. I paid the bill, but wasn't happy about it. Especially considering the only thing the PTs did was assign me exercises from a printout that my doctor gave me. Once they assigned it, they disappeared for 10 - 15 minutes, came back and assigned another exercise from the printout. Again, when they charge you a copay, ask them if it's the total amount, and ask for a receipt that says 'Paid In Full'. read more

If you were hoping to just be given exercises you can do at home while no one watches you or corrects your form while you're there, this is the clinic for you. On top of that I didn't even see an actual physical therapist for an individual session except for my initial evaluation. For the next 8 sessions not one person touched my back or asked how it's progressing or changing. Then when it came time to evaluate whether to continue they "forgot" and now keep calling me asking if I'm coming back to get more terrible service. My back is no better than when I came in. Screw every single person at this practice. read more

So I went here for therapy because I am having knee pain. Clay said that it was my patella. He creates a plan and then the other physical trainers move you along on your routine. This location is in a very small space with a lot packed inside it. Stuff looked worn and dirty, not well maintained. I was given exercises to do that I had all of the equipment and stuff to do at home. I can't justify wasting my time and money on copays when I could just write down the routine and do it for free at home. I am not a fan of this place. read more

I just got back from my first visit to ATI on Warm Springs/Stephanie. I was very disappointed. To begin with, no one introduced themselves to me, one was not even wearing a name tag. Then after an evaluation by PT he saiad my treatment wwould consist of heat and then some exercises. He left and osomeone else came in and wrapped my foot with a heat wrap. After 10 minutes, they returned and gave me an exercise to do and left. When I had some difficulty, there was no one handy to question. The first person returned and directed me to another exercise and then left. I do not like a physical therapy clinic where they just give out printted exercises and then just leave you to do them without watching to see if you are dling them correctly, getting feedback as to pain levels, etc. It was just a very impersonal visit. I didn't feel welcome and I am reluctant to return. I am very disappointed and discouraged. read more

Went to Nellis location after total knee replacement. Staff would not listen to me regarding my degenerative dusc disease and arthritis so I would leave in tears and had to go to a chiropractor and acupuncturist to repair the damage they caused. Steer clear of this place. read more

Furthermore, Jonah, the director, doesn't even appear to be familiar with the fundamentals of the business. The staff and Drs Assistance are pleasant and make up for the disespectul Physician Mike Monroe. Mike may be a good Surgeon, however he has EXTREMELY poor bedside manners and is very rude. He handled my injuries in a rough manner and lacks empathy and humanity. He is by far one of the worst Dr's I have ever had! Thank God his staff is pleasant!!! read more

I was referred here for shoulder therapy and was thoroughly content with the process. I felt everyone I dealt with listened to me and adjusted exercises to meet where I was in the process and explain how to adjust the exercise based on how I was feeling. I see people complain about the process but most therapy offices do this style of therapy where they go from person to person while you do your exercise and then they add new ones when you are ready. Staff were continuously cleaning as people went between machines and I couldn't have been happier with the whole process. read more

I want to commend the outstanding services rendered to me by this ATI-Windmill facility especially the leadership of Ms Jenine, the head therapist, and the staff like Natalia, Mila and Alex who helped me throughout my physical workout. They are all showing their patients attentiveness, patience and helpfulness especially if you have some disability issues like me. They don't forced me to do new workouts without asking me how was my previous stint went through or if I can still continue doing my next chores. I really like the facility because after every patient left the beds or any exercise device or area they really don't forget to sanitized or clean the area so you'll feel safe when it's your turn to use it or lay down to bed. Unfortunately I wasn't able to complete my routine therapy due to the extreme pain I had for my bilateral knees, groin area and my hips which hinders me to continue doing all movements given to me. But as soon all my physical issues and movements been treated for sure I'll ask my Orthopedic dr to bring me back to this facility. Besides the proximity to my house, I like the friendliness, customer services and their therapists professionalism and knowledgeable. Kudos to the staff of ATI-Windmill read more

These guys helped me a lot. Julie was my therapist. She not only helped me physically but at times she listened to my problems associated with my injury. They took time to find out exactly what I needed to get better. Everyone who works there is friendly and accommodating. The lady at the front desk is VERY nice and I love her! I went here for almost a year, and I took a while for my pain to go away, but it eventually did start fading after going once-twice a week. They worked with my schedule and called me if anything changed. They never once pissed me off. Even after I left i had a hard time catching up on my payments, because I had lost my job due to my injury. They were patient and let me get back on my feet, and then let me make small payments towards my bill. This was one of the hardest times in my life and they knew exactly how to help me. I had been to other PT places, and they did not work like this one did. I am not 100% better but I am definitely living a better life because they helped me. I still do the exercises. read more

I've been taking my mom to ATI for the past month. She had knee surgery and prior to coming here, she couldn't lift her leg or walk without a walker. Moms progress has been really fast, the therapists give her exercises to perform at therapy and at home (she does them-thankfully) and they do a nice job at keeping her motivated. Ana was the first therapist my mom worked with, she was wonderful, unfortunately she's not always at this office. Paloma was her alternate therapist who was great too. The PTs Christine and Lee have also been very easy to work with. The facility is very small and not fancy but it is clean (they actively disinfect the exercise tables after every patient) and gave everything you need to get you back on your feet. The front desk staff is great too. They are friendly and personable and help you find your favourite jolly ranch flavour!! My only issue is that the iPad that contains all the paperwork takes FOREVER! I'm a caretaker to mom and it was like a 40 minute process!! Shoot me or at least give me a shot of whiskey to ease the pain! These folks are good and there are several locations to serve you. Do yourself and your body a favor and do the work so you can heal! Oh, and keep it up with a good exercise regime with a solid trainer or ask the PT how you can balance out the other side do you don't create more problems! Best of luck!! read more

Unethical and don't know what they are doing. I came to ATI on Windmill for physical therapy in attempt to solve issues with my cervical spine. Prior to making my appointment, I called and asked for a pre-auth on my insurance to know whether or not physical therapy at ATI was covered by my insurance and what my copay would be. ATI said they would take care of it. A week went by and no response. I called again and they said they would have the information ready at my appointment. I showed to my appointment and they told me my co-pay would be $0 for that visit and all subsequent visits. I went a few times to see if the physical therapy would help. Each time I actually received treatment the physical therapist or their assistants didn't seem to know what they were doing. They kept trying to hook me up to a traction device to help with lumbar spine issues and I had to remind them each time I was there for cervical spine issues. After the second time this happened I determined they were incompetent and stopped going. A month later I received a large bill in the mail. I called ATI's billing department to contest the charges since I was clearly told my physical therapy was a covered benefit and my copay would be $0. The ATI billing department stated a mistake was made and I would need to pay the bill or they would send me to collections. I run a medical office and am a doctor. If my staff gave a patient an incorrect estimate on a procedure and the patient ended up with a large bill, I work with the patient because my staff made a mistake. I feel this is the ethical thing to do, ATI does not. They also had no idea how what they are doing. I would recommend you look elsewhere for a physical therapist. read more
