We actually had free flowers from another vendor in addition to Primavera, part of a wedding package, but they were quite lackluster in comparison. Any other place would have tossed them aside, and Primavera should have told us "no way." Not only did Primavera do a great job tying in our ideas and theme, but when the other vendor was unprepared, Primavera graciously bailed them out, integrated the other flowers skillfully and tastefully, and saved our wedding flowers. And after that, they were still humble and respectful about it. We were on location, worked with them remotely, communicated easily, and came to the same vision. Karen is an expert and her years of experience are evident. It was beautiful work, and now our wedding pictures will always remind us of it. I named specific colors: pinks, yellows, oranges, aqua. For $125 they delivered a smallish, funereal-looking grocery store bouquet of pastel pinks and whites with a bit of green. I called back to talk to Karen and ask what happened. She passed the phone off to her asst and said she was busy. I was assured she would call me back, but she did not. I offered her the chance to discuss and make it right. She chose to ignore me. I hope people read this review. I feel duped and ripped off.

Huck and Paddle completely breaks the mold. The whole shop is curated (and I use that word intentionally) from a very unique perspective. It is filled with interesting objects, large and small. Inevitably, one of these objects will strike your fancy and demand to be taken with you when you leave town. The owner is delightful, and is committed to her aesthetic. We got to discussing some items I thought would make sense in her store, and she immediately got online to see what I was talking about. Oh, and she has something for everyone. Me, Mama Q and Not-So-Little Q all found things we wanted to bring back to SF. I hope Huck and Paddle survives, I'd like to visit her shop again next year!

We love coming here each year & will return again next winter to see what is new. My husband loves the candles, some of which are made in house. All those favorite brands that I mentioned back in my 2011 review are now nonexistent...or at least they were last week. In the 10 minutes I spent in the store I didn't see a single thing I wanted to buy for my daughter, which is a rare occurrence when it comes to me and kids stores. There were a few cute things for my son, but nothing worth the price tag. The woman who works here barely looked up to say hello or ask if she could help. Save your $ and head to Tator Tots for the kiddos instead.

Ultimately, Larry and I were not able to create an adapter that worked for my particular needs. The forms are full color, 3-to-a-page, double-sided - not just something that can be printed off at home printer. Patrick was so easy to work with. He was prompt, efficient, and super responsive by email. Best of all, it was clear he had actually read my initial request - there were no annoyingly redundant questions, no misunderstandings, everything was exactly right. He sent me updates on the progress of the job, so it was easy for me to coordinate with the person who was picking the forms up - and she raved to me about how great the job was and how wonderful Patrick had been. I haven't seen the product yet, but form what she said, it sounds like the last-minute replacements were even better quality than the originals.
