With this last ice dam, we were looking for bids and I was adamant that we were not going to use the previous painter bc his customer service sucks, even though the painters did a great job. Someone recommended Javes Utah Painting and when Javier showed up we realized he had painted our house before. We gave him the job. He's much more communicative than the last guy and he & his dad did a great job. They took care with their painting, cleaned up at the end of each day, rehung everything they took down and painted our house for a great price. I can't recommend them enough. I reached out to painters during the summer and fall. After the 1st no-showed for 2 months, we tried another who also gave us a bid and promised to come before cold temperatures. When they no-showed and also didn't return calls, we learned about Javes Utah Painting from a rave review on Nextdoor. In spite of it now being very cold and snowy in Park City, Javier and Angel showed up, tented and heated the front porch and did a beautiful job repairing and restoring the door. I also had them come inside to repair some dog-damaged doors and trim. It was a challenge because I didn't have a record of the stain color or type that had been used originally. In fact, two different stains had been used to create the desired color. Javier was able to figure that out. (I don't know how ). He has an incredible eye and attention to detail! The repairs turned out beautifully! I would challenge anyone to find where the repairs/re-staining was done. I will be using them for future work and highly recommend them. They are a new business so they don't have much of a footprint on the review websites but I wouldn't let that deter you. I'm sure they will become popular very quickly.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Nelson from Grey House Painting for a project that…read moreinvolved staining, painting, and patching work around our newly remodeled banisters and staircases. Simply put, Nelson did an incredible job, and the results exceeded all our expectations. One of the biggest parts of this project was staining the new handrails and banisters to match our existing flooring. Nelson showed my wife and me a wide range of stain samples, each carefully selected to closely match the tones of our floors. He was patient and helpful throughout the selection process, and the final result was a perfect match to the sample we chose. The stain not only looks beautiful on its own, but it really ties the whole area together and makes everything feel cohesive and intentional. In addition to the staining, Nelson painted all the trim around the stairs and banisters. This fresh coat of paint gave the space a clean, crisp look and really helped the new woodwork stand out.
