Unfortunately, that standard was not met at the Cherry Blossom Festival in Conyers. There is a way to maintain safety while still being kind, patient, and respectful. I strongly recommend that Rucker Family Amusement invest in customer service training, particularly focused on how to appropriately and positively engage with children. Respectful communication with children is extremely important to me, especially as a parent of a child on the spectrum. When my son became overheated and laid down near the entrance of the inflatable that he exited, one of the operators shooed him away with her hands as if he were a nuisance and told him to move instead of checking on him. I also observed an operator yelling into the bouncy house, and overall, the staff came across as stern, unsmiling, and not welcoming. While safety is important, the way it is communicated matters. The operator at the tallest inflatable seemed annoyed in her communication with children waiting and children already in the bouncy house. She didn't smile or greet anyone pleasantly or seem welcoming. Families deserve an experience that feels both safe and kind. Unfortunately, that was not our experience.

Instead, they texted me and simply told me to check the website. That felt impersonal and unprofessional. After I left a review about that experience, the owner contacted me and acknowledged their mistake, explaining they had been experimenting with AI systems while interacting with live customers. They offered a discount, which I appreciated, and I decided to move forward with a rental. Unfortunately, we later had to reschedule for July. The week of the event, they called to say they could not honor the rental. When I requested a refund, they agreed and invited me to return in the spring, assuring me they would honor the discounted price. In February 2026, I called to schedule an inflatable and ask about the previously promised pricing. The call was disappointing. The owner placed me on hold multiple times for a combined total of over ten minutes, repeatedly confused me with other customers, and then claimed he "remembered me very well." The tone of the conversation became rude. I was told they would not honor the prior pricing and was made to feel unreasonable for even asking. When I said I would take my business elsewhere, I was told, "That would be great." Overall, this was a frustrating experience. Commitments were not honored, communication was inconsistent, and the customer service, particularly from the owner, was unexpectedly discourteous. I cannot recommend this company based on my experience.
