The service was phenomenal forgot the lady name, but when it comes down to customer service, she's the best. The London Trading Company is definitely my go to store now instead of ordering online from the UK for Barbour product. I'll definitely be back.

The feeling of that famous scene of Pretty woman, with her first retail shopping experience. THIS is what the luxury industry has been fighting against these days: appearances and sales. It is not the mask that was a barrier. It is not wanting to sale and do the work properly: contact with the client, small talk, questions, advice, and even if the client do not buy today give him the opportunity to remember you, and buy from you another time. I found a dress, they had It in 6 and 8. First person told me : we do not have your size. I have no complex being a 12 . The answer and voice was not inviting. A good sales person would have 1 / we can try it on and order it for you 2 / we have this new model in your size blah blah ... The answer was robotic, judging me up and down. My fault I came in with no rings , just my credit, card, my Bartaco order in hand, no make up, no signs of superficiality. I GUESS I was not a good target. RETAIL team did not bet on me to be able to fall in love and buy something right away. I left the store, and found online that saks, bergdoff and TIBI had had my size available of the popeline dress. I Went again back to the store, I live upstairs , I asked to try it anyway, figured out I needed a 10. Went back to purchased it at $278 instead of the store $349 the brand had it in finale sale, got my dress today! I am grateful to the store, I have discover a designer I did not know about. I mainly shop in small businesses for one reason SERVICE.

However, after perusing the racks, I saw a variety of items both for on and off the resort. I was pleasantly surprised at how versatile many of the items were and the owner gave great suggestions on how to style the pieces. Ultimately, I purchased a cute purse and some really good smelling room spray. I could definitely see myself coming back for an outfit to wear around town or to refresh my wardrobe before a vacation.

I moved out of the register lines to check my bag because her look was offsetting and realized my earrings I just purchased weren't in the bag, only 4 items were. My husband grabbed the receipt from me and walked back up to the counter and only had to say "earrings" and she immediately grabbed them from behind the counter and gave them to him. Never in my life have I witnessed something as immature, unprofessional and such a disgusting human being. So before you leave I'd make sure they don't try stealing anything from you. They "extended it" to Monday (5 days after arrival) The gorl I spoke to was very short with me and very rude. The next day I got he same text. I call back and go trhough it again. The next day (Monday) I get it again and call to say hi this should be her till Wednesday, I was coming in today but I don't feel well so I'll be there tomorrow (Tuesday) fine we'll "extend it" (again should be fine until Wednesday) 10 am rolls around which is when they open on Tuesday and I get a text saying my order was canceled. So I call again, (This is the 4th call about one order), to ask what is going on, also to say don't cancel it as you just opened so it should be in your stock room. I'm on the phone for 47 min, speak with 4 people, including the manager and an assistant manager, only to be told first "sorry they shouldn't have canceled it and sent that text, not sure why that happened" then, 47 min later "we never canceled your order and we don't send the texts corporate does..." so lots of different information, lots of wasted time. No one gave me a name while on the phone, at any point in any of the calls. When I got here to pick it up they couldn't initially find it (seriously?) but they found it. I asked for the manager and assistant manager's names (as they did't give them to me o the phone) and the girl at the dest DIDN'T KNOW EITHER OF HER MANAGERS NAMES. She had to ask someone else. What? How? Customer service matters. They don't get that here.
