ok so i was in rogers IOP for 2 months and it was the adolescent unit. i LOVE all the staff there…read more as soon as i walked into the lobby, i already felt cared for and happy. i loved rogers because it was all structured. communication with the other kids was strongly encouraged which led me to some of my best friends. if you're thinking about having your kid here, heres the schedule. 8:30 am: check ins. 9:00 group, 10:00 group, and then your daily agendas. your daily agendas include working on things you struggle with. i struggled with body image but ever since doing all my practices, im so confident!! the amount of care all the staff had toward us was amazing. i would definitely recommend

Please look at Better Business Bureau before you consider going here - Our experience with Rogers…read moreBehavioral Health was extremely frustrating and disappointing. We were told upfront that the program would cost $370 per day, all-inclusive. Based on that clear representation, we moved forward. My husband attended the program for 10 days. However, once insurance paid their portion ($1,310), we were shocked to receive a bill for an additional $2,685, plus $595 for a psychiatry visit. That's a total of over $4,500-- they said that since insurance paid, the all-inclusive rate was no longer applied - so basically going thru insurance didn't help. What's worse is the lack of quality care provided. My husband saw the psychiatrist once in person, and the visit was unhelpful--she barely communicated, and when she did, she was very difficult to understand. He was mostly given exercises and books to read with no meaningful therapy, and no real help for his depression. We were expecting a structured and supportive program, and instead, it felt like a self-guided workbook with a massive price tag. To make matters worse, no one at Rogers is able or willing to speak to me about the billing or what was promised at the beginning. We've been left with inflated charges, minimal care, and zero accountability. Rogers grossly overcharged and underdelivered. They collected payment from insurance, then billed us even more--well beyond what was quoted. I strongly caution anyone considering this program to demand everything in writing and be prepared for surprise charges and a lack of follow-through on care.

If you are seeking a therapist who you can be comfortable with and trust completely, contact Jill immediately! Like many of you reading this, I, too, was on yelp searching for someone who I could connect to and who would be able to see the essence of who I am through the murky angst I was suffering from. After reading the reviews for Jill's practice, I forced myself to give her a call and was so relieved to get a quick response. I was able to get an appointment and knew immediately that Jill was someone who I would be able to trust and confide in. I started seeing Jill weekly back in January of 2018 (again, she is life changing). Jill helped me to begin to work through so many different issues that I was finding difficulty in overcoming (self identity, parental issues, anxiety, etc.). She allowed me to cry, share my thoughts aloud, let things go, breathe, challenge myself, and so much more. It is because of Jill's understanding and encouragement that I began to heal myself. Jill has so many wonderful traits that I will never be able to put in words for anyone who is reading this review. She allows you to do the work while guiding you through your thoughts and emotions. I felt like an actual human and not a case file during my sessions with her. She is such a grounded, badass woman who has one of the most kind spirited personalities. Jill communicates clearly and in a way that you sure to understand. In short, if you are seeking a therapist, contact Jill Lewis. She is a wonderful human being (seriously an understatement)! If you're willing to do the work, she will meet your commitment tenfold. Contact her now! It will not be a decision that you regret! You deserve to feel whole!

About a year ago, I wrote a review for Jill on here and it was flagged and eventually deleted,…read moreprobably because I hadn't written any other Yelp reviews and wasn't very active on the site.. So here I am, re-posting one, which in itself should help you understand how important this is. Let me try to recall what I had previously written: Having been to many therapists - some when I didn't really want the help and some after I decided I wanted to get healthy. What I've come to realize is that Jill is the absolute best therapist, but ONLY if you are ready to get help. If you don't want to get help and if you plan on lying through your sessions, you won't like her. What I mean by that is she's not dumb and you're not fooling her, even if you think you are. And if you're trying, it's just a waste of money. I'm not saying this from experience. In fact, when I had Jill as an individual therapist as well as group therapist, I was more than ready to be in a better place. I know this because even in my willing mind, it was challenging. I find myself to be pretty well connected to my emotions, how I'm feeling and why, my upbringing, relationships, etc etc..and even still, Jill was able to make so many connections that I hadn't. I felt I knew the ins and outs of how therapy works, and I addressed that with Jill. I questioned what she was thinking about what I was saying and talked about myself as an individual vs myself as a patient. I was able to bring up the topic of therapy as well as all of the issues that brought me there in the first place. Jill's office became a place where no subject was off limits. I know it seems like that is what therapy should be, but very rarely have I felt comfortable enough with a therapist to really open up. As much as I may have made it seem like she's tough, she's also one of the nicest people I've ever met, especially in her industry. I have been in a healthy relationship for 3 years and just got engaged. I have thru-hiked the entire Appalachian Trail last year, and am currently writing this review from the Pacific Crest Trail. I am strong enough to physically, mentally, and emotionally be able to participate in the lifestyle that I love, alongside a person I love - two things I would have never been able to do had it not been for Jill. If you are living in Atlanta or in the surrounding area, know that there is a fantastic therapist that is very missed in New York and who is sure to change lives wherever she goes.. And if you go to her, tell her I say hi :)

She is astute, experienced and compassionate and a master of her profession. She is like a master guide to help you find your way in the world inside and the world without. If you are looking for someone to blame or to satisfy someone else's request that you see her you may be in for a disappointment. I don't believe she "plays along" ( unless therapeutically necessary). Obviously she may not mesh with everyone but if word of mouth means anything then I assure you she is wonderful and worth chatting to if you need someone, in order to see if it is a fit. She is top quality out there and one of the best. Her goal is to help you move forward, and I assure you she is fully qualified and able to do so, if that is your goal too. She will be the first to tell you if the therapeutic relationship is not working, she has no dearth of clients! If you go to see her remember why you are doing so: for you to know how to help yourself get from where you are to where you want to be, and you need a bright, kind and experienced person to help you get there, illuminating the path, showing you where hope and growth( which you may otherwise missed) is to help you on your journey!

Once you enter, you are welcomed by the entire team of practitioners, Shayda, Brittany, and Nicole, who are very kind and supportive. Shayda has practiced her therapy techniques, including hypnotherapy, CBT, and identifying core values, on me, personally, and I am always amazed at how deep our sessions can get and the amount of insight I receive in such a short amount of time. Her talents don't just stop at her counseling, though. She is equally as talented at decorating and the interior was meticulously curated to put her patients at ease and feel safe in her office. You can't even really call their space and office; you have this near uncontrollable urge to take off your shoes and help yourself to their mini fridge and refreshments because you feel so at home. I will definitely be back, and judging from the feedback, I know I won't be the only one. Do yourself a favor and come here for all of your self-care and therapeutic needs.
