I refused the blood work and they still made me do mouth swab.....one year later I received a bill for $987. I have two insurance companies and this was a simple office visit ( no medication). This office is fraudulent and I will be letting my insurance companies know. I also will not pay that ridiculous amount. This place needs to be investigated, I will be calling the board of medicine.Something very wrong is going on in this place. Their actions are those of pain clinics especially with the mouth swab and bloodwork and no reason for doing it. AIT laboratory in VA, MD and WV did the same thing there were shout down. This place is a duplicate for West Virginia Weight and Wellness, look it up on google. I'm telling you there is something wrong in this office. Do not waste your time or your money . Stay as far away from this practice as possible!

She is incredibly knowledgeable, gentle, and kind. She explains everything without rushing. You feel very nurtured in her care. Anchor Point is the only place that offers neurofeedback and biofeedback in Conyers or Convington. It looks like a home, outside and inside. After a year of visits, I had not made any progress or gotten any better. It was difficult to make appointments with her. If I had to cancel due to an unexpected migraine or other health issue, they did not care and charged me a missed office fee, even though I would let them know as soon as I could that I was not going to make it. The office staff was terrible. They were rude and uncaring. They stopped allowing me to make more than 1 appt at a time, with no explanation. (Again, it was very difficult to get in to see Ms. Smith, so it was important to make as many appointments as far in advance as possible.) I would be put on hold for a long time. When I got the answering service instead of staff, messages were not relayed. Upon reflection after the fact, I realize that I was unable to be honest with Ms. Smith about my needs and feelings. Also, most importantly, as the office staff was throttling my ability to see my therapist, I was in a severe suicidal phase, and Ms. Smith did not notice. The office staff did not care. Thankfully I found another provider who took me seriously and helped me out of that suicidal ideation.

However, I was spiraling out of control with my temper, words that I would use, and things I would say to almost anyone. I knew that wasn't me, but I also knew I wanted to change, who wouldn't? I researched for the best counselor and by George, I got her. Dr. Margaret Weaver is better than a bag of chips. I was on her waiting list for almost 3 months. When the receptionist called I knew it was either now or never. Dr. Weaver is kind, unopinionated, she listens carefully, and she provides great feedback. Her feedback and most of all her prayers has helped me in a major way. I started seeing Dr. Weaver August of 2019 (I believe) at first I was embarrassed and didn't want anyone to see me or know that I was going to a therapist, yeah I got over that real quick. Whatever I am going through God grants Dr. Weaver the right things to say to me. She has helped me with relationships at work, with my sister and I am a better person today because of her. She has a very calming spirit, one that I can appreciate. I take notes with my phone, just in case I forget something and especially during tough situations, I will review my notes from Dr. Weaver and automatically I have a new approach on how to deal with the situation. I appreciate her prayers before and after each session. Again, you have to have some sort of relationship with God to be successful at KCC, but that's my opinion. During my research for a therapist, I read where Dr. Weaver came highly recommended. My desire was to have an experienced, knowledgeable, well credentialed therapist and Dr. Weaver has surpassed all of that. I am a much better person because of her. One down fall and it has absolutely nothing to do with Dr. Weaver, the building design is a little dated, it could use a face lift, if you can get past that which I suggest you do...Dr. Weaver is it! Scheduling has been difficult and unorganized, and it often feels like the needs of families are not being prioritized. Parents already have a lot to manage, especially when advocating for services their child needs. A smoother and more supportive process would make a huge difference. I truly hope the office works on improving their communication and scheduling systems for the families they serve.
