Definitely steer clear! I should have known by the looks alone - many cars crammed into a crappy corner lot with a gross, dirty trailer situated in the middle. Yikes. Decided to look around, the employee who was there told me everyone else that works there was "late coming into work." Ok. After driving 45 minutes to see a few cars, the cars that we were originally interested in were filthy, hadn't been cleaned INSIDE (one had trash and dirt on the floor), one had a bumper falling off, the final one had chipped paint and rust above the windshield. When we bought here, we thought we knew what we were getting. A used car with lots of miles, paying cash, no big deal. We ran it by the Pep Boys during our test drive to run a code finder during our test drive and no codes came up. However, the salesman barely showed the carfax, and did it on his phone, seemed to be unconcerned about any issues with the car that I pointed out, and basically brushed us off. When we went inside the trailer to do the paperwork, it was definitely run down - again though, this is what we knew we were getting right? WRONG - within two weeks the car we bought threw every light it had on, transmission issues, oil issues, alternator issues - you name the problem we had one. I contacted the dealer ship and asked to speak to someone multiple times as we were told that while they don't warranty the cars, to please call them with issues. EVERY TIME I was told I have to speak to the owner, and to call back and when someone did finally take a message for "Omar" to call me back he never did. I got tired of leaving messages and am now coming here to warn you - take the car to a mechanic, not just run codes, because codes can be cleared and it doesn't mean anything. NEVER BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALER!!! I bought a used EV from this dealer and gave it a test drive--no apparent issues, drove it 200 miles back to my house and still observed no issues. The NEXT DAY, less than 24 hours later, I was driving the car down the road and it suddenly shut down completely. The car had a destroyed rear drive unit that had to be replaced, which cost $7000. A few weeks after that got replaced, the car shut down yet again, this time with a broken battery, which can cost up to $17,000. This is more than I paid for the car in the first place, and because of the extreme expense, I haven't even been able to repair the car at all; it's an expensive brick sitting in the driveway. I called the dealership many times, and every time these guys steered me in circles and it never went anywhere. They say they will call you back and never do, you text them for updates and they never respond. I repeat, if you value your money at all, NEVER BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALER. There is no warranty on the car, and the paperwork you sign strips your right to sue them. They refused to lower the price and promised to order the parts and ship them to me. It has now been 3 months and they have a different excuse why my part is not here yet. February 14 This car was in my possession for several weeks before it became useless for my teen son who has Asperger and worked really hard to have a method of transportation to get to school. Once I exposed Atlantic Auto Sales online within 10 mins the owner called to try to make amends after ignoring all my previous efforts prior to the reviews. He gave me his "personal cell number" ( I was blocked, not once did he pick up my calls and messages) they are very good at ghosting. In making amends, he had me toll the car back to his lot at my expense and kept the car for about two months. When I called the dealer to inquire about the status of the car they were always rude to me and made it uncomfortable. The owner wanted to charge me again over a thousand dollars when during making "amends" he said that the problem with the car was very cheap to fix and therefore they would take care of it. But I was being hopeful, borrowed the money and pay them more money. After several months he finally returned the car and as my son was driving it off the lot, all the lights came back on again. We took it back to the dealer and we waited several more weeks this again. Ultimately, for the third time, we get the car that was supposedly an "easy and quick" fix. 3 days later all the engine lights , mcs and many other related to engine issues are back on. The car is as reliable as the dealer has been. My son doesn't have a way to get around to school and his therapies. It is really sad that he saw a woman who trusted them because I don't know about cars and they saw my son who really didn't understand that we were both being taken by these money hungry sharks. I wouldn't give them a star at all. My 16 year old daughter spent her hard earned money for a car. This place states that they have mechanics look at all their cars. This is a lie or their mechanic isn't a real mechanic. The car we chose had a cover over the bottom of the engine. So no leaks we detected. He assured us many times that the car was in good working order. We bought the car and my daughter drove it only a couple times in 4 months due to it being in the shop being fixed after breaking down multiple times. I kept them informed of every break down. The last time they had to tow it to a VW dealership and they told us that if would cost over 5000 to fix all the problems. When I told Atlantic about it they basically told me I was shit out of luck. At least after 3 days someone from the dealership came and provided me with a new battery, smh I have not had this car no longer than 60 days oil leaks and now mold growing in the back seat of the car. It was a little further outside of my search area but the trip was worth it. Website is easy to navigate and plenty of cars to fit any budget. No one pounces on you like other car places, too. I worked with Mike and MJ. They were fantastic ... answered all my questions, worked within my budget, and with my bank (which is out of state). After closing the deal, Carolyn in the front office helped me get all my paperwork done, making sure everything was in order. She not only knows what she's doing but she is super friendly. This is a typical fraudulent used car dealer. They lie and BS you the whole way. Their cars are used and abused. They're buying them cheap from various dealer auctions for pennies on the dollar, and then selling them off to innocent and naive buyers. I flew from NY to buy an Audi S8. They sent me many photos, and claimed the car was in excellent condition, and everything worked on it. They even said that i would have no problem driving the car back to NY. Long story short, i fly there to see a car with SEVERAL oil leaks, major suspension problems, CRACKED windhsield, and bald tires. When i mentioned these issues to MJ, his response LITERALLY WAS "I'm not a mechanic, i don't know anything about that car". EXCUSE ME???? YOU'RE THE DEALER, THAT'S YOUR JOB. MJ started fighting with me and yelling at me. I also did a computer scan of the car with my laptop and found over 100 error codes. They literally tried to dupe me by selling me a bad car. I was all set to purchase a Nissan Versa Note here today. I literally had the check in hand less than 24 hours after seeing the car because I really wanted it. Right before signing the paperwork I went to get a pre-sale inspection done and found out that the car had been in a collision that had not been reported to Carfax. I don't know if the dealership knew this or not (since they don't inspect their cars and just go off of what was reported, even though their website says "our entire vehicles undergo a multi-point inspection"), but I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt since it had not been reported. Once I returned from the inspection, I inquired about the damage to make sure it would pass inspection and their entire tune changed. They went from friendly and nice to defensive and somewhat rude. Actually saying to me that the car passing inspection is "not their problem". I was actually still willing to purchase the car if they were willing to negotiate on the price/work with me (since there was clearly a collision that caused frame and headlight damage). They were unwilling to even negotiate at all and simply said "then don't buy the car". In addition, I simply suggested they let the next person interested know that it had been in an accident, to save them from going through the whole process I did, and they immediately shut that down and got pretty rude about me even suggesting it. Unfortunately, an initially good experience ended pretty badly. I recommend everyone get a pre-sale inspection on any cars from here. read more

Well, I mainly wanted to know what I was getting into. I felt like I was in an awkward interrogation. This car was my FIRST choice because of the colors and condition based on the pictures. After this phone call it dropped completely off the list into the trash can. This car has been listed online for at least 75 days. That's a long time for a car to sit on a lot.
