I was down in the area and needed a haircut before heading off to family photo day. I walked in, sat down and waited for my turn. When my turn was up, I hoped in the chair and was warmly greeted and asked what I was looking for. I wish I remembered the gentleman's name, but I honestly can think of it. He took his time in making sure my hair was perfect and that I was happy. I will return, the next time I am in the area. First and last time coming here. The wait wasn't long and the barber did as I told him to cut my hair, however for the first time in my entire life I came home with the back of my neck and beard area extremely irritated. The barber needs to be more gentle with his machines, the amount of pressure he puts against my skin was way too harsh especially if your client has curly hair. As a barber I would think he would have been more cautious, but he wasn't which leads me to write this bad review. This place didn't worked out for me, but it might work for you if you have straight hair. read more

I came in for the 1st time just needing a great barber home to do a simple wave cut for my son when need be. The wait was not long,(mid day Friday), and the prices were what i was use to seeing. I did notice a tip sign on the wall so I assumed they must have had issues n the past with that. So the gentleman proceeds to cut my sons hair, I could see that the cut was not as even looking as I would have liked( some areas were cut a tad lower then the others) but hey im no barber so I sucked it up to, its just hair im being a picky mom, but its my dollars being spent..keep n mind. The gentleman finished the cut and my son gave him a 20 for the 15 dollar cut. I expected/assumed that i wld get 5 bucks n change and make my own decision about how much I FELT i wanted to tip. The barber hands me 2 bucks and says...all i have is 2 singles. I gave him a look, said keep the 3 and i walked out. I felt that was unprofessional being that he could have made an effort to ask the other 2 barbers for change. Instead he made the decision for me, a new customer, whom he did not know. For that reason alone I will not be returning an unfortunately I have to write this kind of review. A suggestion would be to wait an see what someone is going to give you before you take what u want. Being that there was a sign about the tips I'm sure they were burned in the past an just trying to look out for themselves but as a single mom I gotta look out for myself too an warn other people just in case they are on a budget like I am. Got my haircut for the first time last week by Brian. He came very highly recommended to me by my peers. Now, I have never had my hair styled in anyway before. I typically just grow my hair off and then shave it all off. But I had decided it was time for something new. Didn't quite know how to describe what I wanted to Brian but he understood exactly what I was wanting and gave me hands down the best haircut I have ever gotten. Not only did I get a great haircut from Brian but he was incredibly professional and was very fun to talk to throughout the process. That was the worst barber shop I have ever visited. I really don't want to give him a 1 star. I don't know his name but he was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. He was a tall bald headed black guy wearing a white shirt and shorts. I did not like the way he cut my hair. He seemed like he was rushing to get the job done to get me out of there. While he was cutting my hair, he had friends around that started cussing using the F word. That created an uncomfortable environment. It made me want to jump out of the chair and get out. I told him I don't like the way you cut my hair. He didn't even make the effort in trying to fix my hair. So he said "you know what, your going to pay me right now. Get your ass out of here." I told him I didn't like your service and I will never come back here again. I paid the $15 hair cut and walked out of the shop. As I was walking out of the shop, he called me a cheap bastard and said "Have a nice day a..hole. He started following me around taking pictures of me with his smart phone. I have never experienced such poor quality service in my life. If anyone of you needs to get a hair cut, please don't go there. Stay away from that barber shop. Please don't go there. They are very rude and unprofessional. I don't know how they stay in business by cussing out customers. It was a very unfortunate terrible experience. read more
