Re; Dishonest business practice of Anthony Sciola…read more If I could give TD Auto Transport no stars I certainly would rank it as 0 stars DO NOT DO Business with this company at all cost! Do not do business with Anthony, the owner of TD Auto Transport. He promised to be able to move from Mini-Cooper from Northern Vermont and was not able to live up to his promise and assurances. Then I decided to drive my car to Boston and have it shipped from there. My plans to move the car changed and I notified Anthony by telephone and writing, he promised to issue a credit for the entire amount he charged my credit card. Turns out he issued a credit for less than the charged amount, $100 short. I called him on it and he said it was a key stroke error and he would issue the $100 credit the same day I called him. Over 30 days goes by and he still has not issued a credit. I left two messages for Anthony and no return call. Avoid doing business with Anthony and TD Auto Transport. He is not to be trusted. There are many other transportation companies that you can use that will provide you with better service with greater integrity.

BEWARE TD AUTO LOGISTICS SCAM! Not sure where to start with…read morethe misery I went through with this company. Initially I had fairly lengthy conversations with him and listened with amusement as Dominic is a conspiracy theorist. Heard about the fall out with his family in NJ where he first had his company and how he had to leave for Florida as a result. Still, I decided to go ahead with him when he raved about his "beautiful reviews" entirely on "Transport Reviews" (which I later learned is red flag!). Almost immediatey he pushed hard to have it picked up the same day despite his being aware of it needing a new battery (which results in additional high fees and also means it being dropped here inoperable). He kept pushing saying it didn't matter, etc. making it clear he wanted that quick commission and to be done. I said no, I wanted it operable. I let him know after I had the battery replaced and it was operable. However, Ominic went radio silent for about a week whereupon I heard from a very highly rated company who reached out saying they could have the car picked up the following evening for a price that was less than what Dominc had quoted. While I was on the phone with them, I got a call from DOminc furious over the fact that another broker had posted the car on the national board that drivers use for jobs. He demanded that I get on a three way call with him and the company and force them to remove it from the board and say no to their offer. I was really appalled at his behavior and putting a customer in that situation, but given the amount of time I had spent on the phone with him previously, I decided I would try to throw him a bone and allow him to keep the business as he PROMISED he would have a driver for the same or less price within a day or two. I called the company privately to explain the situation and asked them to remove it. The following day, Dominic called with a driver and a price that..you guessed it! was MORE than the legitimate company had offered. Shocked that he was breaking his promise so quickly, I reiterated that he had promised to match their price or do better. After some time he argumentatively agreed to lower his broker fee to match the broker fee of the other company, adding "I just want it over." Dominic informed that the transport company had my phone number and would contact me an hour before pick up. He was EXTREMELY aware my car was at a friend's house who works all day and that she would not be available by phone and I should be contacted for pick up. I could tell he was rushing to get it in and grab his commission rather than listening to what I was telling him as he insisted on getting her phone number. That night when the pick up time came and went, I reached out to the driver myself whose number I had and was informed that they had supposedly gone to the pick up location and left as they claimed no one was home even though my friend's husband is always home and was at the time, as well as having two huge golden retrievers who bark like mad if anyone even approaches the house. When I questioned why I was not called nor Dominic, they became astonishingly rude and aggressive and cursed at me. At this point, shocked, I hung up as being verbally abused by the company Dominc had hired. I have filed a complaint on them as well. By the way, the "driving company" was a pick up truck with a trailer. Following this, I reached back out to Dominic who was completely rude and disinterested and had zero explanation as to why he had not given my number as the primary after I was SO EXPLICIT. From there, his tone became even uglier. He was clearly going to be too difficult to talk to so I sent an email saying why I was dispirited by his behavior, his lying about his fees and his profound lack of professionalism. I was polite, pointed out I had shown good faith in him and turned down a cheaper, easier offer from another company to remain loyal. I received an astonishingly rude and nasty text back from him saying too bad, the money was his, he was not giving it back andI could find someone else to help us. At this point, we did more research and found only two super negative reviews on Yelp pointing out breach of contract and other issues. As I continued my own education, I was told by two extremely highly rated, well respected transport companies that if someone brings up their "Transport Reviews" ratings, it is a huge red flag! He can post what he wants on TR but check now for our review and another. After receiving several more extremely rude and nasty texts from Dominic including personal slams, I had to block him from harrassing me. He refused to return deposit and given the distress he put us through, we will now be pursuing legal action. This was a nightmare. Do NOT use this company. UPDATE: There are amazing companies transporting cars! I ended up with a fantastic one so just be thorough! Go big!

This is the review I sent to Rosa del Monte…read more 1 Star - Extremely Disorganized, Poor Communication, No Accountability Our experience with Rosa del Monte (Puerto Rico / Philadelphia) was deeply frustrating and disappointing from start to finish. We shipped a pickup truck on October 17 from Puerto Rico. We were quoted $1,800, but upon arrival at the Philadelphia facility, they refused to honor the quoted price and instead demanded $3,000. Only after a lengthy conversation did they finally agree to honor the original quote. This should have been our first warning sign. On November 29, we received a formal letter from Rosa del Monte (receiving destination) stating that the truck was ready for pickup. We went in person and were told we needed to pay the taxes, which we did immediately. We were then informed that the truck still needed to be inspected and that this would take about one week, after which they would call us. That call never came. For weeks, we called twice a week, every week. Each time, we were told the same thing: "Please leave a message and someone will call you back." No one ever returned our calls. The person answering the phone was consistently unwilling or unable to provide any information beyond repeating that script. Finally, on January 9, after nearly six weeks of silence, we went in person to investigate. Only then were we told--very casually--that the truck was ready for pickup and had apparently been ready all along. We were also told they had "called and left a message," which never happened. There were no missed calls or voicemails--at any point. Adding insult to injury, the November letter explicitly stated that daily storage fees would begin after December 1. The fact that no storage fees were charged strongly suggests this case was forgotten, neglected, or improperly tracked rather than actively processed. The most disappointing part of this entire experience was the complete lack of accountability. No apology. No acknowledgment of the delay. No explanation. When we later called to file a complaint, we were laughed at and told: "This matter is resolved. We don't see what the issue is." The issue was never the truck alone--it was the weeks of silence, misinformation, disregard, and total lack of customer care. All we asked for was a basic apology for how poorly this was handled. We didn't even receive that. This was a terrible experience--one I would not wish on anyone. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend Rosa del Monte to anyone who values transparency, communication, or professionalism.

Elliot took great care of our needs, and we are greatly satisfied with his customer service. We were told that our furniture and boxes were to arrive 6-8 weeks from pick-up and to our surprise it actually arrived 3 weeks later. The delivery was super smooth, and the guys were very careful with the furniture and in general with everything we had delivered. We will definitely recommend LA ROSA DEL MONTE to our family and friends.
