She encourages a combination of non-traditional and traditional treatments with her patients. Much can be done in the office! They have many hours that are available during the week, meaning both morning and evening times different days. She even offers some kinds of cosmetic treatments.

My son is now 5 months old and he's seen her since he was born. She has an absolutely amazing bedside manner and is very engaged with my son. Her compassion and care can be felt when she talks to you. She has 3 small children of her own and can easily relate to the concerns of the parent. I have gone in for several last minute visits, called multiple times and even called her after hours once. She is always very patient and understanding. My son loves her and smiles and coos whenever he sees her. She is very knowledgable and is open to my thoughts even if it doesn't follow the 'norm'. She answers all of my questions and I never feel rushed. Her office has a healthy and sick side so the children are separated and the staff is very friendly. You can tell everyone that works there really care about their work and their children which is great. I would highly recommend her.

All taken care of by this lovely woman when my middle child at 4 weeks wasn't gaining weight dr avaricio throughly checked my son with multiple scales to make sure nothing was wrong before sending me to the ER when we went to the hospital it was shown my son had a thick lining around his belly that prevented him from keeping his milk down ! He had to get surgery and after that she called the hospital every chance she got even in the middle of the night to check on my baby and his progress !! I recently moved to Brooklyn 3 years ago and I travel to Dr avaricio faithfully something u just don't change and Dr avaricio is someone u don't change !! What a wonderful and rare find Dr. Scott is in today's world. On my first visit with my Father to…read morehim, he took us at a last moment's notice and took such wonderful care of him, taking a long time to listen to his needs and examining him. He did not once look at his watch like other doctor's do. The insurance companies tell the doctor's to spend no more than 15 minutes with each patient. My Mother also goes to him for her needs, as well as myself. After a first visit, he gave me a thorough examination, and spent almost 1 hour with me. I strongly recommend anyone in need of some old fashion doctoring like we had years ago, to patronize Dr. Scott. He has a wonderful staff. His Assistant's Evelyn and Joan are both kind, compassionate and sympathetic. Dr. Scott and his staff are a rare find in today's frenzied society. In fact, I wish I could clone him!!
