Our garage door was damaged when my wife tried to pull out of the garage before the door was completely up. The bottom panel and support were both bent. The garage door could not go up or down. Atlantic Garage Doors came out and did an incredible job fixing the door. Dana knows what he is doing! He quickly straightened the bends in the panels, replaced the bent support, replaced the weather stripping, and lubricated and adjusted both garage doors. It all looks brand new. Most companies would try to schedule my repair in the future, but they were nice enough to give the recommendation of someone else who could help me right now. I usually don't write reviews but I am so impressed with the service I received today I want to share my experience. I recently had the original installers of my garage door (Howard Garage Doors) come out to repair my door. Although the repair did allow me to easily open and close my door manually, I was advised not to use my automatic opener as the door was catching about 6 inches from the floor and jerking the entire opener from the ceiling. After a $200 repair bill I was advised I needed a new garage door if I wanted to use my opener. Today Dana from Atlantic doors came out and in less than an hour has my door and opener working perfectly. He was able to fix the door without any parts, just adjustments. He also secured my opener to the ceiling properly, reprogrammed one of my remote openers and cut away some extra wires getting in the way of the door...lot's of extras that he didn't need to do to get my door working but were much appreciated. Dana was prompt, polite, personable and obviously a perfectionist. My door is operating smoother than it has since it was new! He didn't try to sell me a new door or even any new parts...just used his years of experience to make the proper adjustments to get me up and running. I appreciate his honestly and expertise. Sure hope they are still around when I do need a new door...I will definitely call them the next time I need any garage door service!! read more

Just had 2 broken torsion springs on our garage door replaced by Atlantic. They did a great job. We went with Atlantic based on a recommendation from a family member who used them before, and we're glad we did. We initially got an estimate from Precision, and their quote was $464 or $650(with warranty), which seemed pretty absurd to us. They even charged us $20 just to come out and give us their very over priced estimate. For the same job, Atlantic charged $225 AND it has a lifetime warranty on parts and labor. Atlantic's service tech Dana was great, really nice guy, and very professional. Really knew what he was doing. He went above and beyond simply replacing just the springs, he made sure the entire door was working properly, lubricated and adjusted it for us at no extra charge. The door works better than the day we had it installed 15 years ago! Can't say enough positive things about our experience with Atlantic. I'm not one to usually post reviews, but after having dealing with them I wanted others to know what a great experience it was. I'd recommend them to anyone who needs a repair done to their garage door. read more
