TERRIBLE WEDDING EXPERIENCE!!! We hired Atlantic Limousine for our wedding and it was honestly the biggest disappointment of the day. Our bridal party bus had NO WORKING AC on a hot June day. It was unbelievably hot inside, and multiple people in our family and bridal party felt like they were going to pass out. It got so bad that several people refused to ride the bus back, and we had to figure out other transportation on our wedding day. The bus also reeked of CIGARETTES. I do want to give credit to our driver because he was genuinely trying to make the best of a bad situation. He told us multiple times that he had brought up this AC issue to his boss before and that nothing had been done. Then when I contacted the company afterward, management completely denied knowing anything about it... The company eventually admitted the service "fell below expectations" and apologized, but refused to offer any compensation because they technically "got us where we needed to go." For what we paid, this was completely unacceptable. As a bride, the last thing I should have been worrying about was my family and bridal party overheating or trying to figure out how to get people back because they refused to get on the bus again. I would NEVER recommend taking that risk on your wedding day. read more

I contracted with Atlantic Limousine to pick me up at Logan at 9:30 PM, and take me home to York County, Maine. The flight was four hours late. My driver, Joseph, was ready and waiting when I met him outside the terminal at 2:00 AM, and I was home at 3:30 AM. The drive home was smooth despite the near constant snow and rain. I will absolutely use Atlantic and Joseph the next time I need a driving service. 5 Stars. read more

If you're researching limo companies, then obviously you have a very special occasion to plan for. And unfortunately every local company has terrible reviews online. I called Atlantic to discuss a party bus for my friend's birthday, and the owner couldn't have been nicer. We went over the negative yelp reviews and all details about possible fees. Everything was explained clearly and was a non-issue. Basically, if you act like absolute idiots and puke and break things, you'll be charged. Be a normal person and you won't. The price was great, and subsequent phone calls were all polite and professional. On the night of the party, the bus arrived on time, and was awesome! It easily held all 16 people and had a state of the art bluetooth sound system. Trust me, we had this bus bumping. They even gave us access to the hidden wires and a power supply so we could set up karaoke on the bus. There were trash receptacles and plenty of glasses (though we brought our own). The only downside was no bathroom, and the ceiling strobe lights and brightness control features weren't working. Our driver, Brother Reed, was great. He got us everywhere on time, was clear with all instructions, and was just a cool dude in general. It was an incredible night and experience. To be clear though, they will tell you that the quoted fee includes a 20% gratuity for the driver, and any extra tipping is discretionary. While this may technically be true, it's like saying that tipping at a restaurant is optional. You're expected to tip, so just keep this in mind when considering prices. I'd highly recommend Atlantic for special occasions and plan on using them again. read more

I hired Atlantic Limousine for my cousin's bachelorette in Portland, ME this past weekend and it was the best decision for our daytime events. My experience with hiring the bus went smoothly. The rep helped me select an affordable, correctly sized bus to accommodate our large group for transportation to different breweries. The party bus itself was clean, had Bluetooth hookups for playing our own music, and we were able to bring our own snacks and alcohol aboard. The bus driver John was timely, friendly and most importantly FUN - had some great song requests from the front of the bus! Would certainly use them again if I'm in the Portland area. read more

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. We booked a party bus for a bachelorette party 6 weeks in advance. They told us 30 minutes before 8pm arrival there were issues with electrical... and they would replace it with a Cadillac ( which is NOT a party bus--so say goodbye to the experience we signed up for) and not only that but the cadillac would be an hour later for pick up (9pm). At 8:30 we got a call saying that wouldn't even arrive until 10:30pm. To be clear--the entire bachelorette party that 14 girls spent a lot of money on with the house and supplies all based around taking a party bus on a saturday night--was RUINED. We had zero time to come up with a new plan and already had everyone travel to a town that Ubers are not readily available all to go out for a night of Live music and we were stranded. Imagine needing to be at a venue at 8:30 and not arriving until 11. There is nothing that fixes that. The companies lack of effort to make up for completely destroying the main plan for a bachelorette party is unacceptable. Typically you don't use one of these services unless it's a speciAl event... so if your special event is worth attending to you do yourself a favor and find a different company to get you there. read more

So, I am a lot confused as to what kind of review to give to this place. I am just going to describe what happened and what was done or not done and let you decide. I reserved Party Bus for my Big Birthday (round number, I planned to make it special). The guy at the office was always very helpful and friendly, answering questions and taking reservation. I wanted specifically Party Bus, so I had to go with this agency, as not many limo services around offer it. On my Big Day, Party Bus arrived, and me and my company loaded in the Bus and were ready to go (the plan was to visit local breweries) when we learned that the bus door would not close and we cannot go... The office send us regular limo instead and we got full 3 hours that was reserved, but we had to hang out in the limo, where girls wearing heels cannot sit very comfortably, and obviously, limo does not have the awesome little feature, like Party Bus - dance poleJ That was a huge disappointment! I promised my friends Party Bus, and we did not have it. Not to say that on my Birthday I had to compromise for totally different from what I reserved and expected. I completely understand that it was not anybody's fault and just an unfortunate coincident, but nevertheless my Birthday did not go the way I planned and was ruined. I did not feel like figuring it out during my Birthday and called back to the office, next business day. I talked to the manager and he was very nice but said the only discount he can offer is 15% and if I think I want to discuss it further I should take it to the owner. Of course, I wanted to discuss it further, as I was being charged the same amount for something that I did not ask for... It took me over a week to finally get in touch with the owner. And when I finally talked to him, I was told that I should be grateful that I end up with any car at all (hmmm, that's an interesting concept: I paid $400 for specific vehicle and planned my party around it and now should be grateful that I end up having any ride at all....) also I was told that the manager was too nice to me and offered me 15% discount which is way more than the owner would ever offer, and I should go with it (nice customer service, Mr. owner), and that I signed pay agreement that talks about all this incidents (First of all, I signed it before I found out that the door would not close and I am not having my Party Bus! And second, for the future reference, please, read carefully legal documents, while having beer at the Birthday party) Any way I was talked to like a great favor was done to me (which cost me $400, with 15% discount), and should be grateful and not bother busy people with stupid things like this.... I felt disrespected as a customer and as a person robbed of special day with special party, and not even verbally validated for it, not to say financially. So, here. They THREW OUT MY WEDDING VEIL. The driver insisted on dropping us off 20 minutes earlier than our contract. It was our wedding day and we didn't want to argue so we just went with it. By the time he sped away, I realized my bridal veil was still in the limousine. We called the next day and they denied they ever had it in the limo. Even after telling them we had photographic evidence of the veil being in the limo, they refused to even look. This veil was a family heirloom and cannot be replaced. These people are LIARS. This was the most awesome experience we could have hoped for. Our driver was Walter. He was so nice, made us feel very comfortable and welcome. We used this bus for 3 hours to listen to music, drink and dance before we went to a club. We had alternate transportation booked with another company for the way home. Well that company canceled our reservation just 1 hour before pickup time. At this point we had been drinking for hours with no safe way to get home( no Ubers or Lyft in the area!!) panicked we texted Walter asking if there was any way he could come back and get us home. We told him we were stranded. He texted right back and said he would be there in 45 minutes. He came picked us up and brought us home. He had been at another booking and came for us immediately after. We are so thankful for this. He really cared enough to come get us and the other company wouldn't even answer my texts or calls. About THREE months ago I called this company and booked the escalade limo with the lamb doors for my fiances surprise 35th birthday. I had his friends from out of state flown in for it and wanted everything to go smoothly. About 10 minutes before the limo was due to pick us up we got a phone call saying that the limo wasn't working correctly and we were being upgraded to a party bus for no charge. Yes at the time it sounded great, although with only a TEN minute warning that the original limo I had reserved THREE months ahead of time we had no choice but to go in the party bus. We of course had to accept it as we were literally standing outside waiting for it pull up to take us out of town. I wanted something classy as my fiancé turned 35 and instead got a party bus. Anyways- at the time we made the best of it and of course partied in the party bus. We still ended up having a great time considering we were with all of our friends out of state. The next day our card was hit with a cleaning fee of $165!! I'm going to be honest here and say we did not leave the limo in the condition that it was brought to us. There was cups left behind, alcohol bottles, and beer spilled etc. Although no one had thrown up, there wasn't food smeared anywhere etc. It was what any party bus would look like after a night out of town with a group of friends. I called the owner today to see if he could meet me in the middle with the cleaning fee charge as I thought it was terrible customer service that we were not given the limo that I reserved and with only a 10 minute warning. I thought that was fair and asked the owner if he could lower the charge as I was taking some responsibility for the mess but also expected him to take responsibility for his companies actions in giving me something I did not reserve. I spoke with the owner BOB and he was so rude!!! Mind you he never returned my phone call prior so I had to call him back continuously to get ahold of him, and then he hung up on me!!! He said he would not budge for the cleaning fee and I should be happy that we got the party bus. HA similar to the other review someone wrote prior about a different occasion. This company is NOT about pleasing there companies and they are a rip off and don't send you what you even want!!! AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!!!!! My friends and I were EXTREMELY impressed and pleasantly surprised with this limousine company in Portlane, Maine. Company: As soon as I called this company, I was impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. They were easy to talk to and worked with me on a good price. The charge also does not start until they reach your destination and they stop charging after they drop you off! Other limo companies in that area were telling me that they would start charging us when they left their garage. So I would have to pay for an hour and 1/2 for the drive TO us and then back to their business which is just ridiculous. Limo: The limo was spotless, smelled great and was hands down the fanciest limo I have been in with the strobe light features, ceiling lights, stereo system, etc. Driver: Dan. We loved him. He was easy on the eyes and beyond professional and sweet to the dozen drunk ladies that he chauffeured around that evening. When I needed to change into sandals and called him, he pulled the limo around to deliver my flip flops! When my friend stepped outside for a smoke break, he showed up out of nowhere with an umbrella to protect her from the light drizzle! How he knew right away which drunk girls were OUR girls was beyond me but we all fell slightly in love with (married) Dan that evening. Wow, what a horrible company....what else can you say. Worked on getting quotes for a brewery tour and I had asked about fees, total charges, etc.... They told me one price and said if I paid a $50 deposit they'd reserve the bus for me. Once I get the fee breakdown, it was easily twice what I was quoted and the opposite of what they told me about the fees/max amount. I replied to the e-mail saying this wasn't what I was told by the person on the phone. Without even a response, I get an e-mail saying the reservation had been cancelled. They didn't even bother responding or picking up the phone to correct the issue, they just gave up that easily. You have been warned, stay away from this company. They will draw you in for a cheap verbal rate and take a non-refundable deposit. Then you are in trouble. read more

They have 15 people on a bus with a stripper pole in the middle, they expect the thing to come back clean? Charged a $165 cleaning fee without telling us. I called them numerous times, sent emails, and letters to find out what happened and to get the issue resolved -- and never got a response back whatsoever. I rented a limo for my sweet 16. The driver was really nice and found all of the pick up locations. The only three things that I weren't really satisfied with is that there was no sparking cider or water for the 17 passengers. The limo did have vents but regardless we were all parched by the time we rolled up to Portland Pie for dinner. Also the driver had been given the wrong time for our reservation at Portland pie so I had to call ahead of time to let them know we were gonna be a little bit late. ANYONE LOOKING TO GET A LIMO FOR AN EVENT PLEASE READ!! First off let me say the driver was very nice. We had him for the bachelorette party and the day of the wedding. Here are the negatives, NEITHER DAY were they on time. The limo picked up the bachelorette party at the restaurant 15 minutes late, which wasn't a huge deal but we specifically asked for the white hummer stretcher limo because that was what the bride had wanted, they showed up with the wrong limo. The day of the wedding, after the limo was 15 minutes late i called the buisness number and the person who answered stated "he left with plenty of time he should be there already" and agreed to call him. The limo then showed up a few minutes later 20 minutes late which made us late to our hair appointments which made the limo late getting back to pick up the guys to bring them to the wedding and then made the entire brides wedding party and bride 20 minutes late to her wedding. He then asked to charge the brides card for the "overage of time" after the brides father stated "no" because he didnt know whose card was on the account the card was charged anyways. Let me just state that on their website they say that they will be there 10-15 minutes early, neither case was this true, not even a courtesy call to reassure the bride they were just a few minutes behind. If this was homecoming, a prom, ect we wouldn't have card, but this was a WEDDING and it was laid out to them what the day was like and strict times that had to be met. so save yourself the hassle and find a different limo company unless you like being fashionably later (: read more
