I'd called in the mid morning for a pick up at 1:30 PM that same day, and he agreed to take me. He was prompt, very pleasant, and was a careful driver. Traveled again with him just recently and would recommend highly. New, spacious and clean car. It is outfitted with an enclosed rooftop luggage rack, and the suv looks like it sits at least six. Anyway, glad I found steve. A real lifesaver.

SHE said: "Uh .. no .. I never got around to it". We have friends and family flying in and out of the Portland FBO all summer. They will NOT be using Maine Lift.

Our bridal party bus had NO WORKING AC on a hot June day. It was unbelievably hot inside, and multiple people in our family and bridal party felt like they were going to pass out. It got so bad that several people refused to ride the bus back, and we had to figure out other transportation on our wedding day. The bus also reeked of CIGARETTES. I do want to give credit to our driver because he was genuinely trying to make the best of a bad situation. He told us multiple times that he had brought up this AC issue to his boss before and that nothing had been done. Then when I contacted the company afterward, management completely denied knowing anything about it... The company eventually admitted the service "fell below expectations" and apologized, but refused to offer any compensation because they technically "got us where we needed to go." For what we paid, this was completely unacceptable. As a bride, the last thing I should have been worrying about was my family and bridal party overheating or trying to figure out how to get people back because they refused to get on the bus again. I would NEVER recommend taking that risk on your wedding day.

The driver arrived in a 5-seater Impala, and claimed the van was not available. They made no effort to notify me of this change, and claimed ignorance of my passenger specification. We had to squeeze additional people in without seat belts for a 3 hour (round trip) journey, causing discomfort but more importantly risking health (and perhaps breaking a law - not sure what the local rules are) They did not offer any sort of reimbursement for their mistake. I would not recommend AB Taxi if you find an alternative. On the positive side, the driver was courteous, professional, and on time.
