It would get better, then painful, get better, then infected, get better, then impossible to even sleep. The refered dentist couldn't see me for 3 weeks, then it was at an office 200 miles away. I read Nextdoor reviews and called Cooper Dental. They got me in same day, cautioned that the most they could probably do is an exam and x-ray. I figured I had to start somewhere. I had the preliminary visit, but an extraction today wasn't possible. I was given a Rx for antibiotics and an appointment 2 weeks away. Whilst I was at the pharmacy, the office called and said someone canceled, could I comeback for the extraction??? Heck yes! I went back, had a smooth and uneventful procedure. Shout out to the entire office staff and Dr. Perkins. Sadly, it was his last day, he's moving for family, but he is a wonderful dentist. The Assistants were also very professional and knowledgeable. Before seeing the periodontist next week I wanted an assessment for the need of a root canal. Greeted at the front desk by a very nice gentleman and on to the back with the assistant. Dr. MacIntyre was great and got to the problem quickly. Unfortunately I do need a root canal but would rather do that before all the work for a crown is done. Great eval. Just had my root canal . Although I hope I never need another one I would definitely be back here if I do. Thank you to Dr. MacIntyre and his team.

After he left, Dr. Best took over. From the beginning I could feel a gap, and I mentioned it at every visit. He continually assured me it would be fine and that if a gap remained, he would take care of it. When my braces were removed, the gap was still there, and over time it has only gotten worse. I would have never chosen this path if I had known I would be left with a bigger gap than before. I never had a gap to begin with. I would have kept my teeth as they were -- they weren't that bad, just a crossbite and a slight overbite. Now it looks like I have a missing tooth, which is far worse than what I started with.

They said I can come in the late afternoon on Thursday!!! When I tried again to express how much pain I am in, and that I would consider this a high priority if not an emergency, all the lady on the phone said was "well, that's when I can fit you in" There was ZERO concern. Even if seeing me today was impossible, at least pretend you're empathetic. Needless to say, they will not be having my family and I as new patients and I'll be sure to share this experience with others looking for a new dentist. This office person simply didn't care! Maybe the Dentist is wonderful, but I'll never know. She should know the indifference the person on the phone is giving patients. Who wants a dentist and/or office staff not caring about the pain?? It seems to me they should be the most sensitive to it!!
