If I would have known that I would have shopped around for another storage place that has a flat rate forever or at least a longer period of time. It just felt like a bait and switch and I just get exhausted with nothing ever being upfront and exactly what people describe it as- there's always some catch. It's exhausting. If I wouldn't have just driven from Texas and was extremely exhausted I would have gone to another storage place just because of that and it's something that I still may do. I certainly wouldn't use them again. Oh and there was also a mandatory insurance that I had to purchase as well. Just tell people what they're going to be paying up front- it's not hard.

The process was explained in detail with no surprises when we got in town to unload, I really like no surprise after seven hours on the road driving a U Haul truck. As a returning customer we were familiar with the layout and area but the team made sure we had everything we needed and all questions were answered, it had been six years and some things had changed in the area. Had friend helping when didn't find the key rode together back to find the key. After accessing unit and upon leaving couldn't start the Jeep. When noticed one of the latches were off! Then battery cable was disconnected! Staff were nasty! Accused not having a rental leaving the vehicle there for no longer then 5 minutes! Huge drama ordeal. Very nasty staff to touch private property and disconnect battery over a missing a key being misplaced to get into the unit. Had an active account at a time pulled over to answer my phone or something didn't even park in a spot get approached by nasty attitude! Private property. Do you have a lease here? What's the number? What's the name on the account? All the while that answered still wasn't satisfied wanted to proceed to take a picture of my vehicle and tag threatened to call the cops bc didn't want to answer anymore questions wasn't plan on being long was on the phone handling a matter for a few seconds couldn't even do without being harassed. Pulled in here within 60 seconds my window was approached aggressively a wave or an acknowledgment wasn't going to suffice this lady. Answered her rolled down window said hi there just be a moment thank you. Literally live close by, meeting public place for a moment to give item to someone off market place. Didn't sit there for 5-10 minutes or 30 minutes. Literally was within 60 seconds of backing in and placing car in park my vehicle was approached. No answer or reply is satisfactory to nasty manager living there rent free to rent out lame units. Began to immediately make accusations that I was being defensive that ticked me off, answering your bs questions turns into I'll call to get you trespassed and call the police. Call them do what makes you happy. Just be a few seconds and leaving thanks. Literally leaving for work ect not changing meet up place not harming anyone or anything by being 60 seconds. Had to tell guy pulled in to get baby item let's hurry this lady flipping out over nothing literally just parked before you pulled up couldn't ask for better timing! As she already Walks off to get her cell phone briskly comes back takes pictures of my tag and re approach me as saying thank you and leaving to guy she's within my personal space very aggressive staff!!! Never rent from here! Go to any other location but this one!!!! Don't turn AC on during the summer! Rates change! We had a unit here for a month, but then moved over to a different place on Dunn Avenue. The location on Dunn isn't as nice as this one, but the rates here at Atlantic Self Storage were significantly higher, which is the reason we changed locations. Would have given a higher rating if it weren't for their high prices. =(

Then after I needed to change the date by one week, he continued to be responsive and said he'd need to line up another driver and would get back to me. That's when it all went sideways... From that point on I had to chase him for an answer. When I tried texting as I did early on during our correspondence, I received error messages saying it was an invalid number. Then after calling the number, I left multiple voicemails over a 72-hour period until today when it said his voicemail box was full and not accepting messages. I also emailed him multiple times, as well as faxed over a letter cancelling the pickup, which under the terms and conditions the way it was written entitled me to a full refund. I had met two conditions: 1) contacted him prior to the pickup and 2) did so without him assigning the vehicle to a carrier or it being dispatched. The response: radio silence. Nada. Just crickets. Now here's the rub: I cannot get other brokers to bid on the pickup until he removes me from the schedule, which is now just a day away. And time is of the essence. I need to have this car picked up ASAP. Obviously, there's no point in doing business with someone who's so unprofessional and unresponsive.
