I've been a patient here for just over 4 weeks now and I feel fantastic! I'm virtually symptom free and it is all because of Dr Huston and Dr Cassetori. Not only do I feel great, I'm back to doing things that I was missing out on due to debilitating lower back pain. I'm so amazed at how great I feel in such a short amount of time. And when I mentioned that I broke my ankle back in high school and it hurts every now and then, they told me they'd work that into my treatment too! I'm able to run again :) I love how friendly everyone is...you'll never see "the rude receptionist" because she doesn't work there. They have Sam and she's smiling all the time. She knows my name when I walk in the door. Dr Huston and Dr Cassetori greet me when I walk through the office, without having to look through my chart to remember my name. They discuss my treatment with me in a way that I understand. If customer/patient service is important to you, as it is to me, then this is the only place to go. Years of falling off horses began to catch up with me last year and I couldn't sleep because of back pain. Six months with one chiropractor did nothing to lift my skepticism. Then I was referred to Rick Huston at the Atlantic Spine Clinic. I'd also developed foot and elbow pain, partly, I believe, from parts of the Bikram yoga practice I love. Rick and the entire staff were wonderful. No waiting around; get on the spinolator or hang upside-down to stretch your spine. With Rick showing me on my xrays what was wrong and explaining what I could and shouldn't do, he worked to straighten me out before he let me begin some home exercises. I've learned from prior physical therapy that you need both in office and home exercises to repair and strengthen your body. Now I am doing the activities I love (Bikrram and riding), sleeping like a baby again and am pain-free (except when I take another fall like last weekend). Amazing! I don't know what I would do without them! Sam is so friendly and really remembers who I am and what's going on in my life. I'm not just another faceless patient. And Dr. Huston is a miracle worker. He's even been able to help with my TMJ! And I really like the fact his adjustments have "sticking power". (more than) receptionist, who sets the stage for the optimistic, joyful environment experienced Every Time you enter the office. The Docs: Knowledgeable, and Strategic in approach, to the variables of each patient's structural AND OVERALL health situation. I have experienced a number of chiropractors across the country and many years. So have a good idea of what one is getting here. Summed up: Beyond whatever you are expecting. I really have the problems. Complicated. And in Give Up mode when I came. They don't give you a Chance to give up Here! And I am, like the other patients I talk to, am getting better. Wow! I absolutely cannot believe how much better I feel after going to Atlantic Spine Clinic!! My family doctor referred me to this office for neck pain and headaches (which I've had for years)--I was a little concerned about getting my neck adjusted, but after Dr. Huston took the time to evaluate me and actually review my MRI with me, I felt much more comfortable--and sure enough, it was painless. Everyone at the office is very friendly, and very professional. They handled all of my insurance questions, and there was no "salesman" like feel I've experienced at other offices. Atlantic Spine clinic was recommended to me by a coworker. My job is very physical and I could hardly turn my neck without shooting pains and my mid back had a constant dull ache. So I gave Dr Rick Huston a try. He's turned out to be the best chiropractor I have ever been to in over 20 years!! He is GREAT! After a few visits I was feeling like new! My neck no longer has those sharp shooting pains and I can move freely. Not only that my back doesn't ache any more. I still go back to see him once or twice a month to keep my spine in tip top shape and to keep my body functioning at an optimum level. He has a great staff and his fees are reasonable. I am a patient with fibromyalgia and degenerative spine. The two together make for a lot of pain. When I first saw Dr. Huston, we joked about my listing all the parts of my body as 'what hurts.' After just a couple of months of treatment, my periods of being pain-free are expanding. My headaches are less frequent and I am able to do more physically at home and at work. Win!
