I stopped here in a pinch (on a holiday when the hotel was closed, no less) looking for a place to stay because I was exhausted from hiking and sleeping in puddles. The owner put me up in a beautiful apartment with a balcony and an amazing view, for a very affordable price. He went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed, including amazing food brought right to my room. If you have any question of where to stay, put this place at the top of the list! Also dinner is eatable but I recommend restaurants in the village. The hotel is clean but sometimes it lacks refinement, but nothing to worry about. The bed was great, nice and firm, with wonderful pillows and comforter. Bathroom: clean, roomy with great shower and lush towels. Spa: a really great addition. Make some time to experience the sauna and take a swim in the pool. The steam room is somewhat disappointing, but the sauna is great. Staff: Totally helpful. Completely customer oriented. We experienced some minor hiccups in our plans. The people at the desk could not have done more to assist us. I needed to print out a PDF. I emailed it to them and when I arrived downstairs it was waiting for me. Breakfast: just great. Dinner: very good, not great. Bar: awesome. Price: very expensive, but you don't get truly amazing for free.

Noralene and her family are wonderful, they treat you like royalty and are constantly working to make your stay the best it can be. The rooms are kept up and decorated beautifully. The showers have the nicest showers with the best water pressure yet. The town is very close and has interesting shops, restaurants and sites to visit. The B&B and the grounds it is on are updated and well kept. Finally, the view! Ireland in itself is a beautiful country but you cannot beat the breathtaking view from the Sea Breeze B&B! We can't wait to make our way back and stay again sometime. If you're anywhere close or looking for a hidden gem, this is the place to be!

It faces the front so has a lovely window view facing the pier. However I would suggest if you are thinking of having an early night with peace & quite don't choose this room as Bushe's bar is right next door and there's usually a crowd outside enjoying life so there will be noise - didn't affect us as we enjoyed the late night hospitality too! The owner was very sweet and made us an amazing breakfast. It's a little isolated, but it was the perfect base for a trip to Skellig Michael and exploring the ruins on the Skellig Ring. You can literally see the monastery ruins (where the monks settled after leaving the island of Skellig Michael) from the front room of the B&B. There is a large, new pub just down the road that serves food from noon to 9pm and Waterville is a short ten minute drive away.
