When Anistasio was trying to take out my couch from the basement he was complaining that when I had originally had that old couch someone must have put it together in the basement room. That was not my problem. He's then arguing with me that he deserves more money. Got into a screaming match with him and once again had to call the salesperson at Raymour and Flanigan to rectify the issue. I had paid for both the removal of the furniture at my house and my mother in-law's house when they finished my house. She contacted them several times to get them to move the couch from her house. numerous times. Finally they call back and say it will be $100. I paid for that in advance.i call Anistasio who of course had an attitude and he said he knows that I paid in advance for that and said they will come and pick it up. They finally arrived and moved it to the curb. Mind you they charged $100 for a 1 minute job. And of course with a bad attitude to both my wife who was at the house at that time. His work is mediocre at best and his behavior makes him a nightmare to work with. When he picked up my furniture, he had a full blown tantrum in the street, screaming and hollering and causing a scene for all of my neighbors to hear and see because he had never heard of homes on a "walk" and he couldn't find my house. He had a meltdown when I couldn't go to his shop with less than 24 hours notice. He lost one drawer pull from my antique dresser, and refused to apologize or take accountability, claiming that the pull wasn't on the dresser when he picked it up, despite me sending photos of the dresser prior to his possession of them. Even at furniture delivery, he placed three heavy table leaves on my brand new, $3000 crushed velvet sofa, leaving scratches in the fabric. When I told him I would pay him after I had this repaired he flipped out and threatened to steal my furniture. His exorbitant prices do not reflect craftsmanship. While a skilled refinisher can sand and evenly stain a dresser in however many hours, it will take Frank twice as long, and he will charge based on time. He makes up excuses for why certain repairs are "not possible," when the reality is that he isn't capable of certain repairs. See photos of two dressers where it is clear they are unevenly stained across the different drawers. The door in the center of the long dresser is a completely different color. He did not have the door attached until after delivery so I did not see how different the color is. He is condescending and brash, and the most unprofessional person I've ever had the displeasure of working with. Avoid at *all costs*

I went elsewhere to get the work done. I regret that decision because the quality was not nearly equal to that of Tony's Decorating ; additionally the upholsterer claimed there was no excess fabric. I find that hard to believe, but I had no recourse in that situation. Most recently I was in the process of moving and required a dissembler to help with moving a sofa out of my basement office. I called Tony - he took my information and promptly called me back to find what I needed. He advised me that he did not do that type of service. Finding caring people who go out of their way to see that I get the help I needed is a rarity .
