Not sure about this place. I drove there because I was told on the phone they stocked something I wanted, but when I got there they didn't have it. This is after a phone call confirmation. I won't mention the stink eye I got when I walked in from one of the "guys" and then the huff from this guy when I interrupted his TV show to ask about what I was told they stocked. Atlas recently opened and from the start has had a big selection of guns, ammo and accessories. They've started to offer some reloading supplies but the political environment being what it is, selection and quantity have been poor. However all through the Great Panic of 2012-2013, they have held the line on pricing and always had *something* on the shelf (as long as it wasn't .22 or 9mm). Friendly and helpful staff. They do carry too many crap guns for my taste, but I understand there's profit in selling junk like Taurus, XDs and Hi-Points. They do have lots of quality firearms as well. Generous allowance on trade-ins, and they're also helpful with special orders and other strange requests. I'm glad to see them in business and I hope they stick around! read more

I'm not sure why the two guys were claiming they got bad service. I have been doing business with Atlas since before they moved from the smaller store. I have always been treated with respect and everybody has been very friendly including Jay who was mentioned by name. Most of them actually bothered to learn my name and great me each time I come in by name. I sometimes go many months without dropping in due to health issues but they alway great me by name. I have no idea why other people think this place is great. None whatsoever. I went in to inquire about purchasing a gun, and the man behind the counter (Jay) looked at me like he was questioning my choice of pistols. I don't know him so I try to give him the benefit of the doubt. I told him the pistol I was looking for and that I wanted in .45 ACP. He proceeds to the computer to look up if the gun is available and finds three different models for that gun and then gets huffy about do I know which one I want. The one he points to is 10mm, at which point I go back to the fact I want .45 ACP. My other choices were SAO or DA/SA in .45 ACP and old boy starts trying to explain the difference to me. I am not an expert in firearms by any means, but I stopped him because I knew the difference and at that point I went from poor customer service to no customer service. Any question I asked he just kind of shrugged his shoulders and said "maybe". I then asked about selling a gun, and it was at this point I really started to get pissed because when I asked him about it he said they "might" be interested if I ever decided to come back and wanted to bring it in with me. I am glad he phrased it that way because I definitely won't ever be going back. I politely shook his hand and thanked him for his time, but in my honest opinion this place is a joke. I have been a Marine for almost 20 years and have been treated more hospitably at anti-Trump rally. I have no idea what the problem was, what I did or said wrong, but I recommend you go anywhere other than here. read more

This is the worst place to buy guns from. They are very limited in stock, people skills and knowledge of the brand Canik. I have had problems with the gun since the day they referred the brand to me. Wouldn't buy the gun back nor swap it out, instead tried to low ball me with their buy back. The bad reviews about then are true and the good ones are probably family and friends.
