I needed some 12 gauge shells and stopped in here to compare prices. I was very surprised how much inventory they had. I ended up grabbing a couple of cases of 12 gauge shells. The prices were on-par with my online suppliers. The gun selection is very impressive for a small town gun shop. Lots of rifles, shotguns and handguns to choose from. Used and new guns. Stopped in two weeks ago to inquire about an open position they had posted. Girl told me the hiring manager had gone to lunch. Just then he walked out of the back room. She asked me to leave name and number and that he would call to talk about it. Never called. Sent two follow up emails- never heard from them. I doubt I would ever go back to purchase anything from folks who won't take time to acknowledge you even if the position had been filled. (it was still posted in store). read more

I had called to inquire about a specific rifle that my boyfriend has been in search of for the past year, and I was thrilled to hear that they had the exact one he wanted in stock. I was able to go by to view the piece in person and great assistance. The next day I went in to purchase the rifle and they did not disappoint. They were patient, knowledgeable, friendly, and happy to help. Not only did I walk out with this "prized possession "but left with a few other items as well. I had a few handguns and an antique rifle I wanted to sell. I went to the nearest gun shop and they recommended I go to Victory Arms. I didn't want to sell the handguns privately because I was worried about liability issues and the old rifle needed a good home because its a piece of history. The clerks were very courteous and negotiations for the weapons were done in a few minutes. I was looking for full value buy it was worth it to me to remove the liability of them falling into the wrong hands. I was very satisified with the transaction and would highly recommend this gunshop to others. read more

I travel around the state and visit many firearm and ammo stores and this is by far the worst. I will say they have an excellent selection of firearms and ammo. Although their prices are generally a little higher than their competitors. Having a large inventory helps them get by with it I suppose. This review is of the staffs knowledge and treatment of their customers. I live locally and stop by on the regular to browse and have made a few purchases since they have opened. After the recent dealings with them I will not be doing any more business with them. A month or so ago I had stopped to look for a red dot for my daily. The salesman was an older gentleman and friendly enough but seemed forced. Almost car salesman forced lol. He attempted to sell me a unit that had the wrong footprint to fit my needs. I explained this to him and instead of just accepting they were out of stock in what would fit my firearm he said the stores gunsmith would have to mount it and continued to push the sale. On another occasion I inquired about some ammo that was obviously purchased from an individual. Boxes worn, written on, and one was a partial. The price was almost 3X current going rate. It could be found online for 18 a box. They wanted 52. I tried to discuss a deal on it and was told there was no leeway on the price due to how much they have in it. That was a couple years ago. I check every time I stop in and it's still there and am told the same thing. I prefer to support local businesses over E sales and offered a reasonable amount OVER current rate for the entire lot. They simply said no and walked away as I was speaking. Lastly I found a used item I was interested in. I was told the manager (possibly the owner) could make a better deal. He did, 5 dollars less and was clearly irritated I would even ask. These are just a few of my poor dealings with them. Of which there are many. Most locals have similar experiences and steer others away. If you know what you want, don't need help from the staff, and don't mind paying a little more than this is your place. read more
