Surprisingly within just three weeks of working out here in almost every session there are people slamming machine weights and free weights aggressively next to you. One guy threw down 25kg weights onto the floor right next to where I'm standing just missing my feet rather than putting them away. Aggression and a real attitude especially from the gym going men. No signs up at all stating rules about no slamming weights or putting weights away and general gym etiquette. When I confronted a staff member about it her response was totally inconsiderate, saying that some gym goers had been there years and there's nothing they can say to them and to train at other times of the day when it's less busy - we already we coming off peak. I can't imagine what it would be like at peak times. My partner now can't train there and gym phobia has been cemented in her mind. You are locked in for a 12 month contract, so if you experience discomfort and issues like the above you can't get out of it. The staff can't won't help you and you are powerless if you have issues. Stay away from here find somewhere else to keep your sanity and respect. I'm a personal trainer myself also by the way! Zak

Also has a sauna and streamroom to chill out in after a workout. Members are all very friendly and owner/head trainer is very helpful and always happy to offer advice. Once there, the kids love this place. There is a small under fives area, but I can't comment on this as my kids were older once we started going, but it looks very good. There is a height restriction of 152cm (approx. age 11). Most of the area is netted (to protect the kids), and there are lots of slides and things to climb on. My daughters particular favourite is the drop slide. This is only open at certain times (it has to be staffed), and you have to have long sleeves and long trousers (otherwise there is a risk of friction burns). There is plenty of seating for parents. I suggest taking a good book to read. The cafe is ok. They do hot food, snacks and various drinks.

First-Hand Experience: I've seen Northampton play 3 times. Twice were away at Oxford United, and once was away somewhere else. They brought only a few fans, but the fans were pretty loud - better than the fans at their home stadium, probably. I'll give them a 3 and an A for Effort, but they're not one of my fave teams, and whether live or on TV, I don't really have an affinity for them or find anything remarkable about them. My last time seeing them live was in the 00s, and I will see a game at their stadium sometime in 2016 probably. Formed in 1897, and currently remodeling their tiny stadium, I have no affinity whatsoever with this small town team who are flirting with disaster and close to relegation from the league altogether, currently in the lowest tier. My hometown team are one of their main rivals since Peterborough have been above them for ages now. In the mid-20th century they once briefly achieved top division status, but that's a long way in the past now. They once lost 8-2 to some Manchester team, some guy named George scored 6 goals. They sold Phil Neal to Liverpool so we thank them for that and give them an extra star. They play in an ugly mauve kit (a bit like Ham and Villa but without blue), nice yellow away kits though, and another bone of contention I have with them is that they were relegated to the conference but escaped because poor Kidderminster didn't have the requirements for promotion.

Our favourite parts were the J-turn and slalom driving activities when else do you get to beat up on a car and execute such crazy manouvers? Lunch was fulsome and actually better than one might expect from a buffet-style group offering. Only constructive criticism: The surveillance equipment briefing session was informative but the equipment itself was beat-up and out-of-date. This session would have been more interesting with items in healthier shape. This really was a full day experience, and one we highly recommend for couples, families (there was at least one father/son-in-law unit in attendance) or groups of friends. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.
