I used to deal with so much pain on a daily basis and had become used to coping with my neck "going out" OFTEN, at least once a month where I would lose some degree of mobility in my neck for days on end due to the extreme "chronic" pain, pressure, and tension in my cervical spine. It was absolutely debilitating at times. I have been seeing both Tim and Danielle for 10 months now and to realize that I have more pain free days then painful days is a profound blessing in and of itself, and I have not experienced my neck "going out" in many months now at all. I can't even remember the last time it happened and this was an experience I had become deeply intimate and familiar with. When I first began my treatments, I was going multiple times a week and in the beginning my progress was slow and sometimes discouraging, but as the adjustments started to hold I was able to stretch the time between visits more and more. Now I am going 2-4x a month and my relationship to my neck and to the pain I once held onto so deeply has completely transformed. I was referred to Atlas Specific by a friend after complaining about neck pain. Upper Cervical care has affected me in only positive ways. I was at my worst emotionally and mentally, and never thought that adjustments to my neck would also adjust my attitude. I was not only enjoying whatever physically prompted my happier mood, but also looking forward to my appointments with an amazing and friendly staff. Physically I feel like a new person. The chronic neck and back pain had gone away, along with other annoyances I never expected. Things like my acid reflex and migraines had completely subsided. Even if I came in with an acute pain from my lifestyle between my appointments, Danielle always seemed to get me feeling great before I left. Now, I can drink spaghetti and red wine without fear of debilitating acid reflex. I would recommend this type of specialized health care to everyone. The science makes so much sense. Upper Cervical Care is a whole new world! It's not nearly as "invasive" as regular chiropractic, but yet makes a world of a difference. I can't believe I've never heard about it before finding Atlas Specific. As someone who has grown up being adjusted with regular chiropractic, I was blown away to find something that actually healed my pain rather than maintaining my comfort. From a young age I have suffered headaches, back pain, stomach pain, knee issues, and left hip aches. All of it has resolved through care here. Yes, I still go in for regular adjustments, but I'd rather have lifelong care that keeps me pain-free rather than lifelong pain that slowly tears my body (and life) down. Plus, Drs. Dr Tim is amazing. His work is thoughtful, compassionate and just altogether badass. I've been to probably 20 plus chiropractors in the last 25 years or so and only a few stand out. I'm a massage therapist of 18 years and have a high standard for bodywork. In general, I don't prefer chiropractors as most are forceful, go through the motions and just arent what theyre 'cracked up' to be. Dr Tim's adjustments are precise and effective. My neck stays free and open and even in the rare instances when i try to crack my own neck, it usually wont even adjust because its already open. His adjustments are also very unique; he has adjusted me in ways no other chiropractor has. His wife, Dr Danielle, has also adjusted once. My treatment with her was wonderful as well. They both are the best chiropractors I've been to. My family always feels so well taken care of by them. read more

After my last mountain bike crash left me with daily headaches I began looking for help with the healing process. I had pressure in my head every day (which would often develop into painful headaches) for two months before I started at Atlas Specific. During the first week of treatment I did not develop one headache. After three months of treatment the pressure that had been constant in my head for almost five months is now gone. I felt like Dr. Clayton listened to me when I was at my lowest point and made the appropriate changes to improve the adjustments. Doctor Danielle is the best thing that ever happened. I struggled with endocrine problems and body pains for years before finding out chiropractic care can change everything for the better. Her hands seem like magic as she seeks out and relieves spots where it hurts, which just makes life and my whole body feel lighter.
