Review for this listing: https://www.vrbo.com/4189729?dateless=true…read more "Stellar Condo" , not even close... My wife and I drove 20 hours from Massachusetts for what was supposed to be a week-long stay in Nashville. We checked in and vacated within two hours. Here is what we found: The building access code provided by the host did not work upon arrival. After multiple messages, the host sent a second incorrect code. We were stranded outside for an extended period before finally gaining entry. Vrbo support had to intervene. The pool is listed as a top amenity, the listing literally says "Dive Into Relaxation: Unwind in the top-rated pool." The pool was closed with a posted "DANGER -- POOL CLOSED" sign. This was never disclosed to us at any point before or after booking. It was a primary reason we chose this property. The unit had not been properly cleaned between guests. There was human hair throughout. The sofa, which the listing counts as a sleeping surface for up to four guests, had visible bodily fluid stains on it. There were bugs on the floor. Tile floors were visibly dirty. An upholstered chair was stained and soiled. Christmas and holiday decorations were still up throughout the unit in April, which tells you everything you need to know about how regularly this property is inspected or maintained. Vrbo's Resolutions Team reviewed our case, acknowledged the property failed to meet standards for accurate listing, proper check-in, and reasonable cleanliness, arranged a hotel for us that night, and confirmed in writing that we were entitled to a full refund. The host has refused to honor it. We were extremely disappointed, especially after the long road trip. Do yourself a favor and book elsewhere. What's advertised and what you'll find are two very different things. We have full photo documentation of everything described above, as well!

It's part resort, part convention center, part indoor botanical garden, and part entertainment destination. You could easily spend hours just wandering through the property. The highlight for me was the massive glass conservatories. They're filled with waterfalls, tropical plants, winding paths, and plenty of quiet spots to sit and take it all in. It's beautiful and unlike any other hotel I've visited. The property is a little dated in places, and I noticed a lingering smoke smell in some areas, which surprised me for a Marriott property. Because it's so large, be prepared to do a lot of walking. Fortunately, there are plenty of signs to help you find your way. Valet parking is available, and there are numerous restaurants and shops throughout the resort. Even if you're not staying overnight, I'd recommend stopping by to explore the atriums, grab a meal, or simply enjoy the atmosphere. It's one of those places that's hard to appreciate until you see it in person. Life is too short not to travel. Get out there, explore someplace new, and make some memories.

We needed to valet, check-in and assistance getting to our rooms. Most of us had at least THREE pieces of luggage! The resort is mammoth in size and it takes a few days to learn your way around even with a map. There's plenty of food options and many spaces to relax and enjoy the lovely waterfalls and plants. Some rooms have a balcony that faces the Atrium which added to the allure. Housekeeping staff were nice and ensured the rooms were thoroughly cleaned and that we had enough water. I enjoyed the boat ride and once I got my bearings, I was able to navigate the resort with ease. We had some storms that resulted in a power outage. That was interesting but everything was restored relatively quickly. I enjoyed the fireworks on Saturday night. I needed bell service on Sunday and Kyle was EXCEPTIONAL! He swiftly gathered my things and made sure I got to the shuttle bus which was ABOVE and BEYOND! There were so many of us that team had to call in out of town reinforcement. Only downside my room had NO VIEW. It was in the Magnolia section and the best part was its proximity to the convention center. Hopefully next time I can get a room with a balcony! Overall I enjoyed my six night stay and look forward to returning when I am on vacation!

There aren't any restaurants onsite but there are a handful about a mile or so down the road. At check in, they do rope you into a timeshare meeting so be aware that they will try their hardest to get you in there. The room itself was clean. The front door requires some muscle to close from the inside; it doesn't shut easily. The kitchen cabinets were also discolored on the corners from use. The ice machine in the freezer was slow but the front desk offers bags of ice. Unlike some of the more packed resorts, parking was not a problem here. (Probably due to a combination of CoVid and not being directly downtown). The Grand Old Opry is about a mile away. The Opry Mills Mall is about a mile away as well. There is a shuttle that can take you downtown for about $10/pp round trip. Otherwise, you definitely need a car to get around. The timeshare presentation (owner update) was supposed to be an hour...I think it was an hour and a half for us. And honestly, didn't tell me anything I didn't already know from my own research online.

Highly recommended!…read more If you are planning to travel to Nashville, I highly recommend staying at the Nashville Riverfront Lofts. The location is perfect for taking in all the Honky Tonk music and restaurants downtown Nashville has to offer and we were fortunate to have a unit that overlooked the Cumberland River, Nissan Stadium, and the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge. When we wanted to party, we were just steps away from the party, and when we wanted to rest, our room was so quiet and comfortable - we could not hear the thousands of people just outside (we were here during the Music City Bowl Game). Our unit was spacious (living room, full kitchen, dining area, bedroom, large full bathrooms) and there was plenty of drawer space. I would HIGHLY recommend the Nashville Riverfront Lofts for anyone - whether traveling for business or pleasure. Great place and only steps from the many restaurants and shops on Broadway!

Room set-up is bad: Use entry code for 4 doors to get into a room with no windows, almost no counter space, no table, poor bathroom lighting and no bathroom fan, closet full with stuff - no room for our clothes, no TV or streaming service (using our phone to watch shows) Terrible customer service. Delaney on the AirBnB app is an AI agent, and not the smartest. Details below. Hard to get problems resolved through her. The phone service busy and ignored my message. Terrible instructions for check-in and getting into our room. More details: 1.They first notified us about TV issues during our flight to Nashville on Thursday. Promised to be fixed on the same day, then on Friday between 1pm-5pm. We waited in our room from 1pm for 3 hours because we did not want to have a tech enter while we are not in the room. Delaney said he would come in half hour around 3pm. At 4pm we were asked to wait for him on Saturday. So we end up watching Netflix on our phone (see pic). We are not going to waste several hours the next day, so no TV on this trip! 2. I asked them to remove all the items that were stored in our closet so we can use it for our clothes (see picture). Delaney inquired if I wanted them removed before or after we leave Nashville. There were plenty of other examples where even a kid would have better understanding. 3. There is almost no counter space. TV, micro and lamp on counter. Why TV and lamp not on the wall? Coffee maker useless. Why not Keurig with coffee pods like in other places. No kitchen utensils and place to prepare or eat. 4. No fan in bathroom. Only vent. Lighting dim. Maybe romantic but not practical when I need to shave 5. Our unit keypad needs to be pressed before you see any keys, as opposed to other units, where you see the keys. Nobody told us and Delaney obviously could not help. It took their support asking for pictures before they could help.

Check in was fairly easy, but valet parking process was a tad tricky. My comfort level was subpar with how keys and vehicles were handled. I also had chosen to bring my dog with me for this impromptu trip of less than 24 hours, as this was advertised as a pet-friendly property. However, this hotel is not really pet-friendly since there was no designated pet relief area and it was determined that the hotel had been a very bad neighbor to neighboring properties! I was told by reception staff to take my dog to either side of the hotel (off hotel property!), where I immediately saw posted signs forbidding pets in those areas and cameras. Rooms were fairly comfortable for this brief stay. Noise level was mid level and I awoke at 6 AM and decided to go ahead and leave. Had to retrieve my own car from parking garage since no valet on duty at that hour. Also want to add, we stopped at the bar area downstairs for a nightcap before heading to our rooms. This was quite entertaining due to the bartender's interactions with other patrons seated next to us. She downloaded a sh*tload of stories regarding her ex and the WWF/WWE. Would likely not return to stay at this hotel with or without my pet. I've also made sure I have a tracking tag hidden in my vehicle now just in case of situations like this.

The location isn't right in the thick of downtown, but the West End still offers a solid city vibe. Thanks to my Platinum status, I got upgraded to a one-bedroom suite--something rare for an Aloft. It was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The check-in agent was friendly and honest--she suggested I take points instead of the food and beverage credit, which made sense for an Aloft. They provided complimentary water too. Parking's a bit pricey--$15 per day for self-park and $40 for valet--but I found free street parking a couple blocks away by some apartments. If you're lucky, that's an option. Elevators were small, but the hotel wasn't busy when I stayed. I got an eighth-floor room, and while they say the patio isn't a rooftop, it sure felt like one--with a nice skyline view. It's not NYC or LA, but it's a good perspective of Nashville. In short, the staff was on point, the room was ready and spotless, and the upgrade made my work stay a lot more productive. If you want a budget-friendly, spacious option in Nashville, this Aloft delivers.
