I was interrogated at the reception as to why I needed this health check service for my vehicle. He wanted me to dictate what to check in the vehicle. when I told him to just do the 15 checks advertised on the website, he was condescending and said I just needed a free service. This auto centre has the least care for customer satisfaction, although the service I request was free as quoted on the website but I've been using Halfords services for quite sometime (different garages) and never I experienced such humiliation.

I have been a customer of Andys for 7 or 8 years. I have been to other garages, some ok, some avoid at all cost (a Motors off Fitzharris Road comes to mind) Everytime I go there they have been really really good. I have had everything you can imagine fixed there, they have also sorted out issues for numerous friends I have sent to them. The car has repeatedly been MOT'd their. The MOT is actually done by a truck garage down the road called Cherry's They are very happy for you to supply parts (new or second hand) for them to work with Downsides. - The only downsides are that they are a bit out of the way and they can't lend you a spare car. They also won't do aircon or modern complex automatic transmissions but they have recommend great places for me to go to, all of whom have been great. Frankly i feel like a fool leaving a review for a great garage because now they''ll get more work and it will be harder to get a booking. But they deserve excelent reviews because i have had excelent service again and again and again. Btw I drive an very old P reg 200K+ green passat around oxford - stop me if you want to check the validity of this review. this is my opinion its worth exactly what you paid for it, its based on my experience, other peoples experienece may differ. I have always found Oakeys to be fair in thier charges and have always been pleased with the work done.
