Its super easy to get to from IL, IN, MI,PA. They work hard to keep the grounds in good condition and have good shower facilities. I've camped here 4 times for Indycar and IMSA and this has to be one of the best deals for a race weekend. The camping pass we purchased can with two tickets and didn't require a separate wristband on top of all that. Would highly recommend going to and staying for an event!

Went to a great event there. It was the 41st Night under fire and it was impressive as hell! I am…read morenot even a racing fan but watching the funny cars and jet trucks with fire blowing out the back was awesome! The fireworks after the show were great as well! There are a few negatives however. If you sit on the summit side there are only outhouses which I hate especially after so many people have used them. I especially felt bad for people trying to use them with small children. There is a regular restroom on the Budweiser side but it is a long walk from the summit side. They need a restroom on both sides! It is bleacher seating and even though you have a seat number it is very tight. I think for the price there should be real seats with backs. In spite of that it was well run and I had a great time!

The concession stand is pick what you want and then walk back and pay for it. There were no lines at the concession stands which I like. I could see the whole race track from where I sat which was a little more than half way up the grandstands. They have races every Saturday night. It's located way out in the middle of nowhere. While I was here, I seen several Amish horse and buggy's going down the road in front of the parking lot of the racetrack. There are several portable potty's at the racetrack. Some are open all night for people camping in the parking lot like me. Camping is permitted on the outer perimeter of the parking lot, not in the middle. I saw about 12 to 15 campers camping along with me. Most were RV's.

This is an awesome track! This review will just be about the go kart track…read more The go kart track is a dirt track and a really great size. I race karts here and its a blast! This is my favorite track to race at. To get in you have to pull up by the gate and pay. There is an area for all the trailers and there is a place to get on and off the track. At the end of the features there is a place to pick up your trophy and money. Its very well organized and they usually make the right calls. I love this track and always will.

Smith Road Raceway is one of the oldest motocross tracks in Northeast Ohio, and has always been…read morevery popular throughout it's existance. The track is, according to the owners, a natural terrain style track with mostly natural obstacles. I have not ridden on the track since the recent ownership change, but apparently not much about Smith Road Raceway has changed since the ownership change. The area surrounding the track has lots of trees, and the atmosphere resembles that of a park. Many people who don't ride simply pay to spend the day spectating and watching the riders, and the concession stand sells refreshments to guests and riders as well. Smith Road hosts various races throughout the riding season, and they are typically held on holiday weekends such as Memorial Day weekend, the 4th of July weekend, and Labor Day weekend. Overall, if you prefer old-school motocross racing and enjoy a family friendly setting, I would reccomend you go and spend the day at Smith Road Raceway. Just a couple of observations: Parking lot doesn't lend itself to tailgating. Rock/gravel Fix the scoreboard. So many lights out, you really have no idea what it says Excited to come back. Warning - there's NOTHING to do in Monroe, Michigan. Drove through downtown Saturday afternoon at 1:30. Tumbleweeds.

I couldn't believe there weren't more crashes! The two highlights were the boat races and the bus races. Crazy fun! Didn't have any problems with people drinking too much or behaving badly. There was a fun family atmosphere all night long. Loved the reserved seats - I think they are only a buck or two more and are def worth it! It was our first time but I understand they do bus races again in September so we will be back.

Fun track Went on…read moreopening night. They had 7 classes racing from bandoleros to late models. Decent car counts. Great for kids because stands are built into the hill and you don't have to worry about young ones falling. Concession stand had lots of options from burgers and hot dogs to pizza and sausage sandwiches.
