The issue was when his rude behavior turned to me. I hired a lawyer bc they said I had too. But I did all the work to get my charges dropped. I'm a RN and live in greenville and work overnight with kids, I barely have time for them. I don't have time to go to court but I went EVERY time. Was I late? Yes bc I just got done working 12hrs and need to still drive to craven county. I would try to change and look presentable before court but then I just started wearing my scrubs because I didn't have time. I would call EVERY time I was going to be late then would get told to come to the office first. I would and then get told I should've went to court first. So unorganized. Nurses live pay check to pay check especially if you if kids, I don't know how he thought i had 1800 to just give him in a couple months but I didn't so the case went longer than he expected because he was waiting on me to pay. He was rude from day one. He said I needed to go to the register to figure out what my charge was and come back and tell him. I went there and she said it was a registration ticket and I had already fixed my registration and tried to fax it to the DA to get the case dropped prior to getting the next ticket but that didn't happen. So they said if you have the registration you can take it over to the DA office and get it dropped so I did and went and told him. That pissed him off bc he said I was supposed to just find out what the charge was and come back to him but I 'wanted to save a couple bucks and do it myself', now the thought never crossed my mind. This was the first time I ever had a lawyer. I just wanted to be done with having to come to Craven County. And he didn't give me a dime off which I wasn't expecting but just why even say that to your client who never mentioned that. So from that moment on our conversation were always strained. To the point he said he didn't even want to talk to me and to take my boyfriend's number so he could talk to someone with sense. Again. I'm a whole nurse so I have common sense. But again I'm doing everything he ask. Driving a hr away after working 12hrs and not falling asleep in court. He threatened to drop my case bc I hadn't paid him in full. I bank with Civic and everyone who has them knows they have no banks or ATMs so I needed to wait until they were open to get the money and then drive an hr away after working 12hrs just for him to ignore my boyfriend and then me in the court room. Gave his case to his daughter and said he didn't see us when my boyfriend made an attempt to talk to him when they went on recess and he was face to face with this man who ignored him and kept walking. Then left the courthouse after he went through his cases but mine. My boyfriend chased after him and he said oh I didn't see you, I gave the case to my daughter talk to her. I tried to get her attention and she said I don't know you and then came over and talked to us and said she would get us next. I finally left at 1pm. Still have to drive home and work 12hrs that night and be a mother with no sleep. He is very heartless and rude and I'm glad I no longer have to deal with him.

Mr. Chesnutt instructed me were to sit in court and honestly having never been in legal trouble before, this was very helpful. My child received a traffic ticket and again, Mr. Chesnutt and the legal team handled it and while she will not make that mistake again, it was handled in a matter that did not drive up our insurance and did not take a lot of time out of her pocket being a student. The prices we paid for his services were very fair for the results that I and my child got. I would not recommend anyone else unless he, Marc Chesnutt, himself recommends someone.

I got a speeding ticket in Atlantic Beach, NC and needed an attorney…read more I live a few hours away in Durham, NC. I got a dozen mailers from different law firms a few days after my ticket and called every single one of them. All of them said the exact same thing and all promised the exact same resolution. One attorney recommended talking with Mr. Crowe and personally vouched for him, saying he was the "absolute best attorney in the area and had been practicing law in the community longer than most". I called Mr. Crowe and I noticed he asked a different set of questions and the conversation went very differently than the conversations I had with all the other lawyers. The other lawyers seemed more interested in getting hired whereas Mr. Crowe seemed more interested in seeing how he could help me. During the conversation he was asking me questions to find angles in my matter that other attorneys didn't even bother looking for and I hadn't even thought of. But, by the end of the conversation, it was just a simple speeding ticket and in the end Mr. Crowe got me the outcome he said he would probably get. I didn't have to go back to Atlantic Beach or anything and the whole process was as simple as emailing them back a form. If anyone I know was ever in need of some legal help in Eastern Carolina though - speeding ticket or something far more serious - Mr. Crowe would be the first call I would recommend they make. Really appreciated his professionalism and dedication to ensuring my best interests were served.

ARE YOU PRESENTLY ON THIS ROAD, AND HAVE NO…read moreCLUE WHAT TO DO? If you are in need of an attorney, hire Atty. Gint Krulikas of Minick Law, P.C. in Wilmington, NC. You will not be disappointed. The outcome of your case may not be the same as my family member's, but with Atty. Krulikas rest assured that you are in excellent hands at a time where you are in desperate need. When a member of your family or a close friend gets arrested, that causes the whole world to come crashing down on you both, especially if like us, you are clueless as to how to solve this problem with which we were dealt. So we prayed. We both began to take steps to get the best possible outcome, by searching for the facts and evidence. We kept hitting roadblocks. Though financially strapped, we both pulled all our assets together and hired a private attorney. Slowly, we both realized that this was not working out. So we asked very close friends and family, that we trusted, as to what to do. They advised us to seek other counsel. One friend specifically told us what to look for in an attorney. So again, we prayed. Then we went searching the internet for that type of attorney(based on reviews, awards, etc). Time was very short, and trial was approaching, since there had been prior continuances. Our search led us to Atty. Gint Krulikas of Minick Law, P.C., who fitted that description. And what a blessing. This attorney is beyond what we imagined: fee is reasonable, provides detailed zoom consultation, extremely knowledgeable about the law, very detailed in what steps he and your family member needed to take, provided your family member with a contract and detailed instructions, and is very professional. Atty. Krulikas, provided us with continuous updates, and immediately answered all emails sent to him, and kept us updated non-stop. He prepared my family member for trial, detailing the worst outcome to the best outcome. Based on what he told us, we were completely satisfied that he had looked very closely at the case, and had prepared it thoroughly. Even though we were terrified, we knew God had placed my family member in excellent hands, those of Atty. Krulikas. We got to court for trial, and Atty. Krulikas, though he had other clients, kept going to them as well as us with updates, non-stop. He was extremely professional with his behavior during the entire time, and wasted no time working on all his cases. He then calmly pulled us outside, and provided us with the best outcome ever: CASE DISMISSED! We can't describe our reaction, except blessed beyond words. If you are seeking for an attorney, one that is exceptionally knowledgeable in the law, and who really cares, hire Atty. Gint Krulikas, You will not be disappointed.

The officer showed no mercy or leniency, and I knew that being an out of state driver that any court challenge could be difficult/troublesome. Consequently, I hired iTicket.law later that same afternoon. Their intake staff was very friendly and helpful, answered all questions I had, and assured me that no matter what they would do their best and represent me in absentia. I was assigned Attorney Kimrey whom I'm told has extensive experience with traffic citation cases in Cumberland, so I was happy to be in good hands. For a flat fee of $139, she would handle the appeal as well as appear in court on my behalf. All communications after the first call were via email (I never needed anything further), the web portal also tracked any communications or actions required and was very easy to navigate. One week before my scheduled court date, I received noticed that my case had been closed with a Voluntary Dismissal- exactly what I'd been hoping for. That $139 investment saved me over $240 alone on just the ticket, plus many thousands in insurance rate hikes over the next several years. I cannot praise their service enough. Thank you, Attorney Kimrey and the iTicket.law team!
