All these were delicious - and they heated up the cheese pastry for me, which was a perfect more savory but very slightly sweet start to this decadent meal. I do my best to order and communicate in French, and I appreciated that the lady helping me spoke back to me in French as well, and was patient with my poor language skills. I was extremely surprised and very appreciative that she actually gifted me an extra slice of tart aux pommes!! I didn't expect that and I felt very welcomed by such a exchange. I ended bringing that slice all the way home to NYC with me where I shared it with my partner. He usually doesn't like sweets like this, but said this one was a really good balance of sweet and tart. I grabbed this as my last breakfast before I left Paris on my work trip and it was overall a good pastry, albeit definitely overpriced (5.9 Eur). I have to say it wasn't that special as I was expecting gooey chocolate and flaky buttery croissant from a pâtisserie in Paris but it definitely did not deliver.
