This is a typical Belgian brasserie on the seafront: lots of beers, some good wines, a limited and classic menu that features house made shrimp croquettes, fish soup, cod in cream sauce, steak with fries and the like. A classic interior with wood panelling.
It is a wonderful place to watch the sun go down on summer nights over a beer, but the terrace may get quite cold during winter when it is not heated. Even inside, the constant opening of the door to the terrace can make it unpleasantly chilly, and the staff doesn't mind too much: they are probably used to it.
The staff on our visit - or rather: the waiter - was clearly overworked and unfortunately took it out on the customers - which should never happen! read more
