While visiting the area our tour guide recommended this restaurant. It was delicious! I was a fan of their house beer, so definitely ask for it if you're visiting!

Came here for lunch with 6 friends as it was the pick of the tour guide taking us through the city for the day. For a starter I got the Goat Cheese salad which is probably the best salad I've ever had. The cheese was fresh, warm and browned and dowright outstanding! My entrée was Rabbit which came with 4 cheese croquettes. My friends ordered the Roast Pork Filet w/ bacon, onion and mushroom; and a couple of Beef Stews and salads. All food was enjoyed, portions were quite large and comparable to price. For dessert I shared the Chocolate Mousse with someone else and it was really really good. Service was good, very fast and efficient as we did not have a lot of time.

Tour guide dropped us off here. It's made for tourists but not necessarily in a bad way. Pros: they seated a whole bus of people extremely fast, taking everyone's orders. Menus are in every language. Typical Belgian food. Beef stew and frites were pretty good. Food came out super fast. Great service. Overall this is a well run machine for providing food extremely efficiently for large groups. If you get dropped off here, enjoy. If you have more time, you may want to explore one of the other cafes that may be a little cheaper.

Came here for lunch while on a tour of Bruges. The tour guide recommended this place for quick service and also to try a local specialty, which is stewed pork cheeks. I did order the recommended food and service was super quick, but the food was just okay. There wasn't a ton of flavor, which could have been the dish itself, or the restaurant, it was hard to tell.

Mussels in white wine sauce €21.50

Our tour guide dropped us off in front of this restaurant, and told us we had one hour for lunch. Bruges is near the port, so I sticked with seafood and ordered a mussels in white wine. The mussels came in a pot. They looked beautiful, big, fat, juicy and fresh. A sprinkle of pepper to take away the fishiness was all that was needed to let the ingredients shine. I loved this. The service was fast and effective. The server knew they needed to get the group out in 1 hour, so there wasn't time for chitchatting. This section of the street is full of "tourist trap" full services restaurants. This one is just as pricey as the few next door, but at least the mussels are pretty good here. If you look for less expensive food (which might or might not be full services restaurants), I saw some down the street. So keep scrolling. I don't know if their food is any good though.

Went here at recommendation of the tour guide for fast service and the food was absent any semblance of flavor as if they had never heard of seasoning. Welcome to the Land of Bland. Be aware that the menu says filet mignon but it's a flat iron steak. They also did not serve us quickly which was their alleged selling point and when I inquired on the whereabouts of our order, the waiter acted as if he was affronted by my inquiry scolding me. He was built like retired mon muscle so I shut my trap and quietly consumed my barely edible offering that I actually waited to consume. Chances are dear reader that you won't read this review until it's much too late but if not and you are looking for choice of dining in the area, avoid this like people avoided the plague in the 14th century. Find or pack a snack to nash on that will hold you over when better offerings are available because you will regret your visit here and your stomach will be angry with you too.

Flemish beef stew and mussels appetizer

We had such a wonderful meal that I really wish we had more time to spend here (and Euros, ha!). It makes me really sad that so many people gave bad reviews on Google, primarily due to the service, but our service was outstanding. We had very limited time in Bruges, as it was a cruise excursion and we were strapped for time. We weren't sure if the service at a sit-down restaurant would eat up a lot of our time, but we were in and out in less than an hour, and I'm a slow eater! My husband ordered the Flemish beef stew and I ordered the appetizer size mussels. The stew came with chips (fries) as well, though, we thought it was a bit odd that the fries were in a bowl and the stew on a plate, with a little lettuce and tomato with dressing as a sort of extra mini side salad. I had a taste of the stew and I think it had mushrooms in it - a bit salty but perfect when eaten with the fries, and cooked just right, super tender. It's made with Leffe, a Belgian beer, and you can taste it in the stew, but it's not overpowering. Portion size was just right for us at the time, but smaller in general than we're used to for a main, if hungry. My husband absolutely loved it, and it is a definite must-try when in Bruges. The mussels were in a white wine sauce, with celery and onions, and was surprisingly huge for an appetizer portion. It came in a smaller pot than the main, of course, but I didn't expect to get a pot at all, and I was happy with my meal. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to try the mussels but isn't ready to commit to the large pot. Water is bottled, whether sparkling or flat, so be prepared to pay an extra charge for it. Our service was extremely attentive, friendly, and fast. Prices were about the same as other restaurants we saw in the area for what we ordered. We were very satisfied. It's too bad some other people had poor experiences.

During a trip around Brugge, our tour guide suggested this place to relax and eat during our lunch break. I felt a bit inadequate eating in here due to the fancy interior, but you can come here in casual attire. The waiters don't care :) Prices are decent and the all the food my group ordered was delicious. Tried the mussels in both cream sauce and wine sauce. The cream sauce is not thick; it's actually similar to the consistency of milk. Also had the Flemish beef stew, which was part of one of their meal deals, and it was really good. The meat was tender and you can taste the beer in the sauce it was covered in. The meal came with cheese croquettes and chocolate mousse, which I scarfed. The restroom services are for customers only. Non diners have to pay a fee to use the WC (toilet). The place accepts cash and card. If I ever do go back and visit Brugge, I'd come back here again!

    Yum Beef Stew

We had a 2 night stay in Brugge in 2019. Found this place the first night and we were so happy with the food and the atmosphere, we came here on night 2. I still dream of the Belgian beer beef stew.

Very good mussels and good fish at a fair price in the tourist heart of Bruges plus fast service made this a very good lunch spot.

With so many options, we were excited to explore what they had to offer. Today, we ordered the onion soup, shrimp and cheese croquettes with salad, rabbit with potato croquettes, and the beef stew with fries. Both entrees also came with apple sauce, which was an interesting and surprisingly good pairing. The ambiance is warm, cozy, and inviting, and the service was great. The portions were generous, and most of the dishes we tried were delicious. The beef stew was the highlight of the meal. The meat was incredibly tender and packed with flavor. Eating it with the apple sauce created a nice balance and kept the dish from feeling too heavy. The rabbit was also very tender, it looked similar to a chicken thigh and drumstick, although you can definitely tell the bone structure is different. The apple sauce paired nicely with the rabbit and added a great contrast to the flavor. The shrimp croquettes were tasty, but the cheese flavor was not my favorite. The onion soup was also very different from the traditional versions we're used to. It had a strong, unusual flavor that felt a little harsh and even gave a slight burning sensation in the throat, so it wasn't my favorite dish.

I had no idea how consistently full they'd be and felt grateful the entire time to have snagged a spot. When I tell you my fish stew has to be one of the top 5 things I've ever eaten in life, I am not kidding. It was so spectacular. I had no idea what to order and asked for a recommendation and this was it. This soup blew my mind, spoonful after spoonful it was the yummiest, most delish, comfort meal I've had in a long time. We had a very and tasty experience. Highly recommend.

The beers here are amazing with over 20+ on tap there is something for everyone - and some must try Trappist beers. I absolutely loved this spot. Only reason for not having 5 stars? The service. Although the place was relatively crowded, it was not very crazy at all especially when we first came in after opening and the staff behind the bar were kind of rude. I asked for a flight and they seemed annoyed they had to make one instead of just pouring 1 beer, and i was reading the menu and didn't have all my numbers ready to fire off - more upset. Additionally, my wife and I sat down at the bar about 1 hour after the place opened and we both had glass all over our chairs and now in our bottoms. The bartender was annoyed when my wife asked him to clean it - he said some glass thing exploded there before opening... so you didn't clean it? And then were annoyed customers had glass in their pants? make that make sense.

I also tried to order nachos and the bartender pointed me to small bags of chips from a display on the bar (I think they were Doritos--not what I expected). I decided to skip the snack. The second beer, Rochefort 6, was excellent, so the visit ended in a high note.
