It was time to dine at Gros Bao, just inside the wide open facade that allowed me to people watch from a front row seat. Gros Bao Paris is a fun, casual eatery and it was immediately easy to understand their popularity. Once seated, you order via QR code and food is delivered fresh to your table. Want another dish? Do it again. I'm generally no fan of ordering off a QR code, especially in a sit-down restaurant, but here it seemed to just be part of the experience and I really enjoyed it. Also enjoyed? The food, which I found to be delicious. An assortment of Chinese fare was ordered and I liked everything that arrived at my table. They do have bao, but the menu is also full of all the usual Chinese dishes you know and love. Two of us spent about $75 here for what proved to be a late lunch/early dinner. One minor drawback, some of the space felt a bit rundown and dirty, which slightly impacted the overall experience. Still, the quality of the dishes and pleasant service makes it worth trying.

What is so great about this restaurant? For the price you pay, this is amazing. Tons of seafood options and a bunch of other dishes but the variety of seafood is quite impressive.
