Breakfast with french toast fresh bread and croissants , home made jams and fresh squeezed orange juice was one of the best I have had in France for a long time The restaurant is stunning and very well priced I was delighted to have found this little gem and having stayed the night, had a very good freshly cooked and imaganative 3 course meal with wine and an apero felt that my bill for the whole stay at just over 100 Euros was excellent value for money. The staff also all seem to speak excellent English and will happily discuss the menu, the hotel and all the attractions in the surrounding countryside. On arrival I thought this would be a typical Franch brasserie, cozily decorated with friendly waiters. It turned out to be a tapas place, which I'm not a big fan of. They have set menus as well as a la carte. The set menus are prepared for the whole table and in our case contained a variety of dishes including meat, fish and asparagus. There was one main course in the menu, and we had the choice between duck breast of fish. But boy this was good food, very interesting creations (chocolate samosas, deep fried asparagus etc.) and loads of it as well. Accompanied by nice wines, this was one of the best meals I had in Paris. Absolutely recommend this to everyone. The bill came to an acceptable 230 Euros, for 4 that is including 2 bottles of wine.

When we arrived, we were greeted and quickly seated to a table decorated perfectly for the holiday: with party hats and horns! We got some wine and the amuse bouches was served very quickly after that: one crostini with a salmon spread and caviar, and some other type of delightful savory pastry. The came the huge TOWER of appetizers! The chef herself, Flora Mikula, came out to greet us and explain each item on the tower. There were oysters, shrimp, an egg appetizer, pumpkin soup, foie gras and so much more! Everything was extremely delicious, and I couldn't believe that there was so much of it. After the tower of amazing apps, we were served scallops over risotto. The scallops were perfectly cooked and the risotto was creamy, light and not over-seasoned. The main course was also delicious and by the time it came around, I could barely stomach half of it! I was so full! Dessert was a series of sweet appetizers: a little chocolate cake, mango ice with fruit salad and two mousse-like apps. All delicious. We loved the place and atmosphere so much, that we loittered drinking more wine and coffee until midnight, when the place erupted into cheers and music. Auberge Flora offers an intimate dining experience, with satisfying food & amazing personality. The service is spot on and I can't wait to visit again on my next trip to Paris!

It was a little farther out in Paris than I thought when I booked online the night before but, in the end, we got to see more of Paris on the way there. The atmosphere on the ship is pretty nice. We had a table that offered great views as we sailed along the river Seine. The food was quite good. I had the veal, and my husband had the smoked salmon. We were both pleased with our meals and our desserts. The service could have been better. It seemed like they were very slow and inattentive. They did sing to us and many others on board celebrating special occasions. We did enjoy our time on the water taking in the lovely sights of nighttime Paris and had a very nice anniversary celebration.

I got married on this boat and the celebration was LEGENDARY…read more I have gone to quite a few weddings, both American and French, and I must say that this venue is as good as it gets for an amazing event. So many of our guests described the evening as either the best wedding they can remember or one of their top life events period. The owner never ceased to bend over backwards to accommodate our needs and requests and to make little tweaks that we had not even thought of that made everything come off perfectly. No stress, no mistakes, no failures, no missed opportunities. I recommend this venue from the bottom of my heart and assure you that you are in good hands while on board. We reserved about one year in advance and given we had more than 120 people, the package that the owner proposed to us included just about everything we could want. For the per-person price that he quoted us - the package included the reservation of the entire boat from 4pm Saturday to 1pm Sunday, and this includes all 23 cabins which roomed about 48 guests for the event. The guests were required to pay for the rooms in addition to the wedding package but for an extremely reasonable price given the boat's location in the middle of Paris. Our suite was included free of charge and it had its own private deck behind the boat. First of all, the owner is the major asset of this boat. He has an amazing ability to remain calm and positive in all situations and he is very kind in general. Furthermore, he has done this kind of event so frequently that he is able to predict problems and resolve them before they even arise. Basically, the boat's crew managed things so well that we had very little to take care of regarding the preparation of the venue (except delivering the decorations the day before and organizing the photographer, our own cake, and some other little details). The boat even proposes a photographer option if you want them to manage that as well! Our price included an introductory hour of champagne, a delicious 28 piece cocktail-style dinner served to the guests by a wonderful waitstaff, very nice quality red and white wine served with dinner, a dessert (wedding cake), and a great DJ. Plus the boat owner managed the entire event and everything went forward like clockwork. Also, the boat has an arch already in place that can be decorated and used for the wedding ceremony backdrop. Given we had our own cake, the owner agreed to give us coffee, juice, and pastries for brunch instead!! Second, the experience of floating (fairly quickly) down the Seine, surrounded by friends and family while watching the beautiful sights of Paris fly by and dancing to your favorite songs is something magical that everyone who lives in (or even visits) Paris should experience at least once in a lifetime. Actually, this should just be something everyone does as regularly as possible :) The ceremony took place with the boat parked perfectly with the Eiffel Tower in the background. Also, as you go down the Seine, you have to duck your head or sit down for some bridges because the party takes place in the open air on the upper deck and you can reach out and touch the underside of several ancient bridges. The experience is breathtaking! Finally, there is a large dining room where the part can continue after the cruise without bothering the neighbors (too much) at the dock. The dining room opens up onto a lower exterior deck so people can still easily get fresh air. Also, there is a system to project photos and slideshows. The DJ was very talented but at the same time, completely willing to listen to our requests and ideas. In the end the music was a mix between our playlists and his own song ideas and we had a hard time keeping people from dancing non-stop until 5am!! He also took care of the microphones and PA system for the ceremony for a small supplementary fee (totally worth it). At the end, people could stay very late because they were sleeping on board. Such a strong point. I will be looking to come back for some anniversary celebrations!! :D

The location is prime in the hip Pigalle area. Great restaurants and shops are all nearby, but metro stops are close too. The hotel itself is actually quite small in size. The entrance opens up to the reception and restaurant. The building is old and that is clear. There are some finishing touches that I am not completely satisfied with. My room - the smallest SoPi - was beautifully designed of course, but I was a little disapointed too. It seemed rather spartan and old. Wires hung here and there, which is not preferable in a design hotel. Every single detail should be spot on - it wasn't. With that said I really enjoyed my stay. The bed was really comfortable, the mini bar outstandingly great (the best things on the market paired with homemade bottled cocktails) and soaps etc. were really good. I had both a room service dinner and a breakfast. The terrine au saffran (€14) was tasty, so was the cheese plate. A little average and boring, but simple and nice. Breakfast was outstanding. A variety of bread and pastries from Boulangerie Landemaine on Rue des Martyrs. Charcuterie and cheeses. Fruits and so on. A simple continental fare, but the quality is really high. The service was pretty average. Hospitality was not THAT high, but I enjoyed it overall.

I speak rusty French and the servers were sweet enough to allow me to carry on en Français, but also were able to help out with foods I don't know in French. I had a delicious fish with squash (possibly pumpkin) and started with radishes with butter - so french, so good. The wine selection by bottle is vast, more limited by glass, but one can very easily manage to find a nice glass. The cocktails are also nice. I'm impressed and also semi-surprised that I had not read anything about this fantastic place...wish I had left room for dessert!
