      We walked all of Sancerre looking for the lunch we wanted. The places by the church were too…read moretouristy, the burger joint like every other, and no white tablecloths for the little guy. When we saw Le Bouchon filled with people we knew we were on to something and they did not lead us wrong. The typical salad of Crottignol chaud was perfectly dressed. For a simple meal prepared and served with care, this is the place.

      A real wine bar with an amazing choice of drinks including spirits. Cherry on the cake the food…read morepart is made of Charcuterie and Cheese Boards and some surprises like Mousse de Poissons. Last but not least, the view on the countryside is just out of the world. What a gem in Sancerre.
