The two of us happened upon this restaurant for lunch on our way thru Burgundy. Having been very cordially received and seated in a very elegant small dining room, we readied ourselves for a light lunch with a bit of wine. The chef himself very swiftly visited our table and re-seated us at one of his larger more favorite ones. Being from The States with only un peu French, we were beyond flattered when chef Alain took us under his wing and offered to choose our wine and to make selections on the lighter side for us. The Chablis was a 2009- a bit past its time- but served seau a glacé so was an acceptable pairing with the tasty wild caught escargots and a filet of poisson. After a course or so later we found ourselves standing in line to meet with the seated chef to receive our l'addition. With quite a bit of artistry and theatrics we were finally presented with our itemized page of charges totaling 261.00 Euro. For lunch. read more
