The staff is so nice, Nancy, Tracy and Debbie are wonderful. The only negative is the cost. We are paying $870 a month for a 30amp site! Yikes, I paid $900 in Malibu, CA on the ocean with 50amp and I thought that was high. Nevertheless, you have this beautiful lake and there is a awesome little eatery called Creem on the Creek and they make corn dogs, hamburgers and even pizza! And its relatively inexpensive. It would be totally awesome if they could figure out a way to make deliverys to your RV that would be fantastic!

I didn't even see anyone going in or coming out that worked at the hotel, but they were always clean when I entered. I did notice there were only outlets on one side of the hallway and we needed to plug up devices to charge. Other than that, the space we were set-up was excellent. They have a bar in the middle of the room in the reception area and it is stunning. If you are hosting a gala or fundraiser in the area, this is the perfect place for it. They have ample space, the staff is professional, and the food is amazing.

Having been to Thrive Coffee and even in the lower floors for Auburn events I was not exactly sure how to get into it. However, there is a separate valet entrance. We were greeted immediately by a host who showed us around and brought us to the 6th floor to The Library where we were given lemonade with an option to spike it. This was not a wait in line for someone to help you. This was a concierge service the whole time. Our host brought us to the room and showed us around, who doesn't love an iPad to control your thermostat, your blackout shades, tv, and music. The room is deathly quiet. You can actually hear yourself think. The marble bathroom with the tv in the mirror, the separate water closet, shower, and bathtub with Bvlgari amenities is stunning. The bed is uber comfortable with high thread count sheets. The bar cart with items for mixed drinks is something I have never seen in the thousands of room nights ai have stayed all over the world. All and all this is a treasure. I hope I am able to stay here many more times. If you have an Amex Platinum card they have outstanding amenities that were available at this point...including free valet parking, free breakfast, and $100 voucher for restaurant or spa.

We found this cabin on VRBO and vacationed here twice, so far. Incredibly nice owners and a…read morebeautiful house. It's not right on the lake, but up on a hill above the owners' house. But that shouldn't be and hasn't been a problem. There's an included six-passenger golf cart to ride down the hill and back up (and I guess to ride anywhere else, although there's really nowhere else to go within golf cart range). The house itself is more than a cabin. It is three levels of wood-walled beauty, inside and out. The main floor has a remote-controlled gas fireplace, a smallish TV and sound system, and several recliners. There is a dinette table with seating for maybe 8 and a kitchen with an island. The main bedroom is here, with no en suite bathroom...you have to leave the master bedroom to pee. But it is a large bedroom with east- and south facing windows. The lake is to the north. Outside, towards the lake, there's a protected wooden deck with a bench and a very large patio table and chairs. A screen door leads out to the gas grill and front porch. Heading up, there is a loft with two twin-sized beds hanging from chains. I never slept in these, incredibly. There's a desk area at the top of the stairs, overlooking the main level and a small balcony that looks south. Nothing too exciting here. There's a stairwell on the main level down to the lower level that begins right outside of the door to the main level bathroom and bedroom. I was never drunk enough to accidentally tumble down it, but beware this navigational hazard. And if you are taller than maybe 6'0" (I'm 6'4" and had to duck quite a bit), you need to proceed with caution, as the 90-degree turn to the left halfway down has a low clearance. The downstairs has a large common area, with a couch, big TV, gaming console, and a kitchenette with fridge. There's also a bathroom with a cool glass block shower. A bedroom with double bunk beds has a utility room with a washer and dryer...these come in handy if you'll be here for more than a couple of days. Head outside on the bottom level and you'll find a pleasant area with a fire pit (and supplied and seasoned wood), a wooden deck with a picnic table, which is covered by the wooden deck of the main floor. A concrete walk curves around and up to the parking area and main floor porch. The main floor porch has some comfy, rustic, wooden rocking chairs that are ideal for sitting in, drinking coffee, and appreciating a quiet morning. This is also how you enter the cabin when you get here. Overall, our two stays here were great. We'll be back, at some point. If you are looking to visit the area, check it out.
