Francisco provided a quote the evening I posted, and showed up a few days later on the weekend to complete the work. They took down our 40 plus foot dying chestnut tree with no damage to the fence, roof or cars, and trimmed back our cherry trees and a neighbor's tree branches growing into our yard. I got 4 bids for tree removal of dying birch trees - he was tied for lowest but was the only one willing to haul away the debris left over. He showed up ready with his truck & gear at the estimate. He was communicative, thoughtful & thorough. If I had a complaint it would be that he was late and only would let me know after I messaged him, but who knows where in the metro he was coming from & traffic is hard to predict which is why I scheduled him to work on a day I didn't have to rush off. As he was finishing cleanup I realized there was something else he could do for me while he was here since he had his tools. I asked if he had time & suggested an amount extra to pay - he said, "no problem" & got it done. As he headed out he reminded me he & his team could come do regular yard maintenance for me too. I have been looking into redoing my patio and yard for the last year. I finally wanted to start the project and needed to remove gravel and to level the space. Initially we only wanted to do the patio area and contacted several landscapers to do an estimate. Everyone came the next day including Francisco. With the other two companies, they only quoted me on the patio project. When talking to Francisco, he noticed our yard needed some work. He asked if we also needed to get our yard done with new sod. My husband was going to do it to save money but we asked Francisco to give us an estimate with the patio. Out of all the estimates we received, we felt Francisco has the most fair price and felt comfortable to go with him. We also want to express how grateful we are to Francisco and Javier for their extensive efforts to rescue our cat from a very tall evergreen tree. Francisco climbed over 40 feet up the tree to help bring our Tony down. Tony wasn't cooperative and it took Francisco 1 1/2 hrs. and also climbing an adjacent holly tree before he was able to get hold of him and bring him down.
